Best tutorial. This was actually one of the first tutorial I watched, but I decided I can shortcut it without learning the fundamental freezes. After lots of pains later I came back to this and voila, I found out, that this is indeed is the smoothest and most pain-free approach to the windmill. Believe me, I`ve seen e.v.e.r.y. tutorial on the KZitem.

Now this is understandable. Man, I feel like you're the only one who understands me haha. Still, yes, most of the tutorials I've watched out there, they always say stab then drop and I was like, "I DID THAT!!!!" but didn't really work. Thank God you're different. At least, I think I'm gonna follow your tutorial instead. Also, Swipe and tips tutorial please..

It's Thanksgiving and this video came up in my feed. It's late, but I thought I'd give thanks to Magneto for this tutorial. I had been struggling with windmills for almost 10 years. I could do them, but they were ugly, poor form, and un-combo-able even though I could do other power like 90s, swipes, halos, etc. This alternative method to learning windmills definitely helped me out. It's been 2 years since this video was released and since I first saw it, and now I can do ground power combos freely, which is awesome. Thanks Magneto and hope you have a great day. Not sure if Canada has a Thanksgiving. lol

Saw this tutorial 1,5-2 years ago... I wasn't too convinced and I followed other sources instead, eventually I learned the windmill but with bad technique (taking head off the ground while on the back). Month ago I started learning windmill with head on the floor all the time, as a result I pulled some muscle in the back and I'm having a little break. Now I'm watching your tutorial and it makes more sense to me, hopefully I overcome fears of this movement and master it soon! Thanks Bboy Magneto ;)

How long did it take you to get mills? Ive been praticing for 2 years and still cant get clean continuous ones. Any tips on breaking out of a bad muscle memory slump
@MagnusMagneto
9 жыл бұрын
+SuperManBK Hey man, it took me a longggggggg time because I had so many mental barriers holding me back from working harder and smarter.... One of the most valuable lessons I've learned with breaking is that you can break the right way for 2 years or the wrong way for 10 years.... It's honestly not the time that matters it's what you do with that time. If you have been trying to do something for 2 years and still can't do it then stop doing everything all together, and instead of drilling the move try a completely new approach to the movement. Everytime you train your mill try to do something different every time you do it instead of doing the same thing over and over again. Hope that helps a little bit brotha! send me some footage if you want some physical tips.
@sup7man
9 жыл бұрын
+BboyMagneto Yea i hear you on the time productivity thing. My main thing is my feet ALWAYS hit the floor right when going for restab. Its frustrating when you train alone and you know going into practice that you are going to make the same mistakes....just a big buzzkill to motivation. Now I'm working on getting into a headstand from the ground like you're doing here and it feels like i'm learning a new move. So yea appreciate the help.. Ima send you a video of my mills this week..thanks homie
@MagnusMagneto
9 жыл бұрын
Word brotha I'm glad I can bring some new movement to your blockage! Trust me I get it 100% Some moves I felt like I was never.... Let me rephrase ALL powermoves I thought I was NEVER going to achieve.... And most I thought I would never understand until I matured other parts of my body and breaking, and then tried coming back to them with new fresh perspectives and that's how I made most breakthroughs. Hype bro send me up the video just because there's no one training with you doesn't mean you're alone! You got it just keep progressing.

hey, great video! You're such a fun guy :) Any tips for shoulder freeze to headstand? I can't seem to get the thrust to get the transition. Thanks, keep it up :D
@MagnusMagneto
6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Homie!! Yes go headstand to shoulder freeze first so you get used to the transition in reverse then after that practice just the upper body part of it with your knees on the ground drill the hands and head part of it so you get used to it, then after focus on the pump keep your knees together and kick straight up (pumping your legs hard ) then as you go up to headstand pull your knees back into your chest to stabilize.

hey magneto, first of all, huge fan of your tutorials, really leveled me up all around. I've been struggling with windmills for ages. I can do stabbed windmills no problem, trying to transition into barrel mills. I am having trouble keeping my hips high without restabbing. I have tried the windmill to headstand exercise and for the life of me cannot get my legs up there. I think my problem is the pump and twist..how do you generate the pump when your legs are open and straight? Any exercises to make my "hip kip" stronger? thanks a ton!
@MagnusMagneto
6 жыл бұрын
Yes!!!! thank you for the kindness! Try practicing your Tabletop to headstand and shoulder freeze to headstand both of those will help your pump because if you go slow enough your basically doing a freeze stack Hope that helps my friend
