Tip #1 is totally on point. I'm a backyard BBQer constantly trying to improve, but the best reward I get is from family and friends who always enjoy coming to our home because they enjoy whatever I cook. Thanks for all of your content!

I love when I pull something off the smoker or grill; put it on the table while everyone is talking; and silence as they eat. That silence is the best response. Can't talk with a mouth full of food.

Great video. I had never seen the foil cleaning tip before. Will definitely try it. I think spending time with your thermometer is as about as important as spending time with your grill. We had 4 different thermometers this year while cooking prime rib at my Brothers. There was as much a 40degf difference between the four. We took an average and went with it. Turned out perfect.

On a big grill, for cooking whole hogs, you still need that wire brush (preferably stainless 🤫 cheaper at welding supply center). Especially if you have expanded metal. But the best pro tip for a clean cooking area is preheat!!! Like 600°f or higher! Then brush it down. Allow your grill to get back to temp. But before your meat hits that surface, the cleaning process is an onion! Just cut it in half, flat side down and use the whole thing! Literally!!! Wipe your cooking surface, and throw the onion back in the corner somewhere. Wipe your surface with fresh lard, or cheat with spray (but be careful).... Aerosols are FLAMMABLE!

#10 is The Best! Opps, I guess it's actually #1. Memories. I dated a byu (ok, I've admitted it) ballroom dancer, and she had traveled the world, and she told me her mother said to her that what she should enjoy the most on her world travels was wonderful food memories. About 30 years ago in Sugar City, Id, we had a family reunion that an uncle arranged, and it was all Dutch oven food. At the end of the meal, the man (who was the caterer) told everyone to learn to use a Dutch oven and invite family and friends over for a meal. Thanks for the Video!

Thanks for all the help. THese types of tips and tricks have taken my BBQ/smoking to a whole new level. And I believe tip number 1 is the most important tip to share with anyone. Be the "backyard bbq hero" in your family and friends circle and they will love you all more for it. Lol. Always love the show and the recipes. Keep them coming and I will keep watching.
