The grill may cook the ribs but it's the "chef" that really makes them good with his knowledge of how to do it. Cheers from Canada.

Possibly the best direct comparison I've seen anywhere! Great video. People say the pellet smokers don't put quite the same smoke flavor in, is that what you've found? Is it still enough smoke flavor?

Very good comparison as I own the Smokefire, WSM, and kettle. I cook on them all and just depends on my mood which one to use. I’ve use my Smokefire the most lately as I just got it not too long ago. Love it. The kettle is a cooking machine to, especially if you add in the SNS.

Great cook! New subscriber here, i've got a Charcoal Summit, Smokey Mountain and a few kettles, love that you broke down the price of the cooks too, very interesting. I love the idea of an offset, was surprised at how much dearer it was for the cook though. Happy cooking and looking forward to many more interesting videos!

Cheers Clive. Yes the cost breakdown is interesting. It all depends on your wood source. Also a better quality smoker would cost less to run. Thanks for watching

So good. I'm currently only running an offset - but I have access to free fruit tree wood, so helps the budget. I'm always impressed at your WSM cooks and the amount you can squeeze into it. - Great vid too

Far out you guys have so many rigs 🤣😍. Didn't know that drum smoker used water too... great vid could watch all day. With the Oklahoma Joe's, would ya say that offers the most variation since it was off set and ya get big differences in Temps across the bbq? Lastly... looking at the Kettle I'm stoked I bought the more economical option 🤣👌

great presentation but very confusing on what you were doing with the ok Joe...first you set ribs closer to heat...later they were at other end and behind on temp...then you moved them closer to heat...only the smoke fire did you discuss grill temp.....
@UnderTheHoodBBQ
3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. Sorry about that. Every grill we aimed for 250-275f and I moved the rack around in the OK Joe to compensate for things like spikes and drops in temps. All ribs came off around 210f.

Great cooking video. Hi from Dublin. Currently I've got a mastertouch with SNS. Thinking about spending some euros this summer on a lux grill. Weber Summit kamado/ Weber smokefire/ just a used WSM? Really undecided here. I like the charcoal option with the summit/ posh kettle. Love the plug and play of the smokefire ( but windy here, will it keep temp?). And is WSM really much different to a kettle for regular family sized cooks? Again good content, really enjoyed watching. The cost breakdown was very informative.
@UnderTheHoodBBQ

Thanks so much! And sorry for my delayed reply. Those are all good options. The summit is awesome but not much more room than the kettle. The smokefire is certainly very diverse
