By just adding flavored wood chips to the charcoal and placing the grill plate the wood chips will smoke and not burn. When you place the lid the smoke will be intensified on your food. This lightweight table grill runs on charcoal but a fan determines how it will be by adding or reducing airflow to the charcoal.
