Snow wheeling deep snow is the best! Rigs usually are cleaner at the end of the day than when they started. Great video!

I can’t make my mind up if the Boggers help in the snow or hurt you. The red Ford is a unit.

I've been out with rigs on better tires and I've still kept up. The boggers are heavy and the tread is stiff so not ideal but they still work. Yes other tires will work better in most conditions. But that comes at a expense as well haha not cheap when dealing with big tires

1:08 I want one so bad, XCab long. I've built a '67, '72, style and two '79s. Never had an extra cab. Built them for the dunes to jump so that kinda explains why the standard. Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely do it.

Just outta Curiosity for the red Ford ever think about airing down? Those super Swappers would get alot more traction at say 4 psi, lol just saying, kick ass video tho

There's a couple ppl but really depends on the early season or late season conditions and trails to follow, it's on the small side forsure don't have to much abilities in the deep stuff

@@WhiskeyWheelers Nice, I learned something. For highway ice and snow narrower is better by placing more lbs/sq in. on the road surface. However that same line of thinking doesn't apply in deep snow. Tire height, truck weight, horsepower and some width is good. I'm impressed, that was a delight to watch because I sell tires for a living. Great video.
@WhiskeyWheelers

Yes absolutely right. The width and overall size really helps for flotation when aired down is the right snow conditions. Still like to have siped or tires that keep snow in the treads for that snow on snow Traction but also need the lugs to really dig when needed. 1 day can be such a different experience then the next, always learning new things to try and what works. Thank you

@@WhiskeyWheelersIn your experience what’s been the best tire for a full-size truck in the snow?
@WhiskeyWheelers
6 ай бұрын
@BLACKLACDTS lots will debate wich one is best but the top of the chain is interco irok, mickey Thompson baja pro, mickey Thompson pro xs work really well mainly for the massive sizes they come in. But any tire with good sipes to keep snow in the tread blocks and can air down well. I run 35 pro comp xtreme mt2 on my 86 f150 and snow wheeled for years with those just aired down and it's got me lots of places still
