Sun Salutations is popular. And I get why. It feels good to go through the flow of the stretches, and complete a small self-care activity so early, so easily.
But, there’s a very good reason why Brando doesn’t want you to do Sun Salutations: chronic pain and tightness.
That’s right! The movement practice that’s supposed to help loosen you up, can actually lead to tightness and stiffness in specific areas (watch video to find out where), which can, ultimately, lead to back, hip, or knee pain.
