I am so grateful for your family. Without going into detail, I have lived through extreme childhood abuse, was married to a diagnosed Narcissist with Bi-Polar who abused me, after I divorced him I was diagnosed with PTSD and Chronic Depression. My mind "was" fertile ground for abuse through Social Media's onslaught of beating my mind into submission with their fear baiting lies, ended up having a nervous breakdown and just coming out of it and I finally divorced Facebook and Twitter. I wonder if you and your family knows just how your calm and respectful love for each other has the power to be a lighthouse to a very exhausted and damaged person caught in a storm of pain - that helps guide them to a safe harbor, so they can rest and begin their healing process. But, I do. Your family is both blessed and a blessing...THANK YOU to all three of you for that.

And I truly apologize if I offended anyone, but this is my paradigm, and not apologetic for still believing in a certain amount of modesty, great family values, and trying my best everyday to look for those old lessons my grandparents gave me when they lived. Trying to look for the good in people, and ignore the negativity around me, I have, through you tube a choice on what I watch, and I am very glad I found you guys. My partner is 67, and sometimes thinks he can not learn from someone younger, but he has come around to watching you.😗

oh my goodness :) you are the antithesis of naive! When I first heard you guys live in Charlottesville I was encouraged and felt so much better about your neck of the woods. I saw what happened there last year on the media. I know you're not political but I often wondered about your perspective since you actually live there. Bless your hearts. We have a long distance family. Sometimes when I miss them I look up into the night sky knowing that we are all looking up at the same moon it makes me feel like we are together.

Good morning Kevin, Cleopatra seems to feel how much more relaxed you are, I saw a frusrated kitty who wants a birdie breakfast. Why she acts like that when you touch her hind end, I saw a knot in her hair, she needs brushed. Its like when women wear a pony tail too long, it gets to feeling chaffed. Bless you guys taking in in a kitty who has problems. Most people cant relate. But I do...its been 4 years since my last cat came in..he is so loving and sociable now, he loves my hubby, but when he 1st came, he had def been abused, wouldnt go near men, shrunk back when you go to pet him,, always watching to see where your going or what your doing. But now hes like a new cat. Its just wonderful, because it gives me hope in this world. Lol, he has chicken pox, not poison ivy, lol were you testing us? I do news the same way, even when I used to see the paper all the time I just flipped through unless something caught my eye. I personally love the way you fish! My hubby n I plan to spend alot of time on the water next year doing it your way with the bottle and string. And we will release.....we always do unless we are looking for food. Im staring to really like the new MrJ😁 Thank you for the ramble. Sorry for mine, have a great day

Great ramble Kevin. As you say the paradigm comes on an individual basis. In my opinion there are 2 ways you can look at YOUR OWN world ... you are either *in charge* of it or *a victim* of it. Both are a mindset ... *both are a CHOICE* . My choice is "the world is what you perceive it to be so best it be positive (or light)". About your beautiful co-host Cleopatra ... the universe sent her to you because you needed one another. A spiritual sage told me one time cats purr and lay on the chests of those they love because they realign and recharge our energy chakras. I from that point on paid attention to their interactions with humans and have decided he was right ... LOL For me a purring cat *ALWAYS* makes life better even when it is already great. Kinda like the cherry on the top of an ice cream sundae.

Charlottesville is an awsome city. My husband and I live about 45 minutes from downtown C'ville and we go there every few weeks. It is totally different to any other city in Virginia. We could just as easy go to Harrisonburg or Roanoke. But we love the atmosphere in C'ville. The hustle and bustle of young students and the beautiful architecture. The green areas all around town. And the choice in restaurants, important to us because Friday night is date night for us. The city to me is still the same as it always was. But I have to say, when the anniversary of the awful things that happened came around, we didn't go there. We didn't go there last year. We did not want to acknowledge the protesters comming in and didn't want to be caught in the middle. So much attention was given to it, and I am not saying we should forget. But in a way attention is given to the wrong side of the argument. It's a darn shame it happened and I hope the city will grow past it real soon. It does not deserve the reputation it has been given by the anger and fear mongers. I might offend people with this point of view. And I'm sorry if I did. I just think Charlottesville deserves better.

I have to say I have watched your video's from the start and agree with you most the time. Common sense goes a long ways and I hope to think i share some of that with you?About equal education I agree but two points I noticed in my school years? 1: you have to want to learn! 2: you have to have good teaches willing to teach you! OR it all can be a waste of time? and I seen this lacking in both cases mostly in Jr. high years!

There were some teachers I had through out my schooling that would only work with those who were already making A's and B's and would NOT work with those who needed and wanted help. They thought they were doing a great job by just keeping those students who had good grades, making good grades. And I had some that would go out of their way to help. Meeting students before and after school and even during lunch work with those who needed and wanted help.

I haven't had a TV for two or three years now. My laptop crashed, for the second time, so I went to cancel my wifi; the same company provided my cable. Since I was only watching reruns of a few favorites (I always knew what came next, lol) so I canceled the cable also. Now I watch movies and videos on KZitem, etc. much quieter around here, and more time for reading.

I do not know when I realized the hidden agenda that media has. I have no tv for a reason. I am particularly angry about how they are and have been sexualizing little girls, or young teenagers through media, from what they wear now days, to even video games...and of course the monster of hollywood...i am almost your age Kevin, and growing up I thought I had to get breast implants, dye my hair, and look for love or attention through man because I did not have parents to teach me otherwise, so I was left to a 50 inch tv and magazines. Boy I was so wrong...it took me years to fix myself psychologically. I have no children but it is something that hits so close to home when I see people in the media who were Disney kids become the Miley cyruses role models for teenage girls. I have a beautiful 19 yr old niece, she truly looks like a Barbie doll, but I keep trying very hard to instill in her values and a moral compass for her future. I really do not know how they target young boys, maybe through materialism...maybe if it's not too much of a conflicting topic you could speak on that a bit, I figure you are quite careful about what you put out in your channel, but you are a deep thinker and you have this awesome opportunity to touch many lives.

Hello, I live in southern Alabama. My husband and I were out shopping yesterday. We went to several stores, from thrift stores to grocerie stores. Everyone we came in contact with was polite and gracious. Holding open doors, letting us out in traffic, even just saying excuse me as we passed one another in the isles of the stores. The news is so negative these days. The reporter's want to focus on just the bad. If they would tell about more positive things, maybe people would not feel so afraid and hopeless. I don't like watching the news either for the those reasons. I try to keep up with my local news and that's all. Too much negativity will put anyone in a bad state of mind. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it makes me feel better about the world knowing you and your sweet family are in it. 👍💕🐱

It's so much more enjoyable to read a book. Media likes to create divisiveness through anger, politics, racism, etc.. The more sensationalism, the more viewers and the higher the advertising minute charge. I go to the coffee shop and read each day. Nice, new friends and atmosphere. At home I like to build crystal radios. The original radio from the 1920's. They don't need batteries. They don't need to be plugged in. Just free-power from a long wire antenna. Parts may be salvaged from a yard sale radio. Also, the coil is fun to wind. My father helped me build my first crystal radio in 1960. I've built over a hundred since then. A GREAT FATHER/SON PROJECT!

Hi Kevin, I am sharing this account with my teenage son who named us ;) I have been watching your morning rambles - jumping back and forth between topics and dates - for a couple of days now and I wanted to thank you for them. After I send my son off to school I have a cup of coffee on my balcony and watch the videos. I am not a good talker, only a good listener, and watching you philosophize and sharing your thoughts on different things is like having company over, haha. It gives me an energy boost for the day and whatever it might bring to us. I also love Dearly's cooking videos and the tasting time with your lovely son. They always wake my appetite and I am surely going to try some of the recipies. Thank you guys for all you do and stay as happy as you can

Sound points; lovely to have them brought to the front of my mind this morning, thank you. Relatedly, 'Finding what one is looking for' is enough of a problem in the sciences that the introduction of splitting some data out to a Principal Component Analysis before running stats on the main set caused and is causing untold expense in old presumptions being overturned and new data sets needing to be collected.

Not going in details on that but you dont hurt any living things but if you go fishing cause you need to eat, then just take what you need now and be thankfull that animal gave its live so you can eat.

Thank you for sharing this....I agree 100 percent. I only subscribe to channels that lean to a positive nature. At my age, I can't handle so much negativity. I rejoice in my freedom (thanks to you and men like you that fought for that right), I love to read, but I want happiness. That is not to say nothing unhappy happens ...my husband passed 2 years ago it was an unhappy time but I choose to dwell on all the fun and happy times we had and know that one day we will be together again. In my heart I know he is well and enjoying those that went before him. I get frustrated when things like what happened in Charlottsville get hashed over and over and over and that goes for all the other cities that steak their claim to fame on negativity. I am enjoying your programs, thanks for saving that precious kitty and God Bless your wife for opening your eyes before it was too late. Have a Blessed day.
