One of my favorite roads. And it looks like you two were having a blast. One thing we do is when we come up on a constrution stoppage, it to run up to the front and bs with the flagman. Gets us out in from of all the traffic and from behind the exhast. Most flagmen are cool and enjoy talking. Ride on Bro!

@mattcarter2121
4 жыл бұрын
Russ, Dragon's Tail (part of US 129) is a technical ride only - eleven miles of close-in trees with one small overlook, constant twisties and switchbacks, under-skilled motorcycle riders and inexperienced sports car drivers crossing the center line, routine fatalities, and a tree of shame - there are better rides in the area. The Tail of the Dragon is absolutely nothing like the inspirational beauty of Beartooth Pass and Chief Joseph Byway. They are in separate worlds.

Adam and Ashley.. I was planning a Yellowstone H-D trip and after watching your video, I flipped up my route to get to the Beartooth starting at Redlodge. Took a ride through the Bighorns, long ride in the flats ending in Redlodge for lunch.....and then experienced the awesome ride you had. Thanks so much for the video. It made the trip!!!! My wife and I just had the best day of riding we’ve ever had. Bed down in Cody and having a beer in your honor at the Silver Dollar Saloon. Pulled out 300+ miles of jaw dropping scenery, despite the California fires smoke. THANKYOU BOTH!

Beautiful scenery. Y'all are having a great time in my home state. In fact, y'all are only about an hour or so from Little Big Horn and Custer battlefield. Awesome museum and cemetery there with a life size picture of General Custer in his buckskins. If memory serves, it's between Lame Deer and Ashland. That's only about three hours away from where I grew up. From Miles City west through Custer and Rosebud counties. Keep in mind when y'all go stompin' through the roadside brush about ticks and diamondback rattlesnakes. Ride safe y'all. Giddy up.

Atta boy Leonard. Billings is 100 miles west of Miles City where I was born. I'd love to visit the area again to see how much things have changed. We used to travel to Billings for a specialty leather shop where my father could get what he needed to rebuild old saddle trees. Scenery isn't as pretty around there but plenty of livestock and antelope. Brutal winters is what I remember...

A lot of omissions: your opener were the peaks 'pilot' & 'index', the store 'top of the world', the bear tooth itself is difficult to see, hand feed the chipmunks at the rest area.
