A lot of people seemed to make fun about Jason's weight, but to me it made the return of Jason felt like he was pulled out of retirement. Like, if I had to imagine Jason compared to Tommy it go something like this: Jason wanted to explore other things, got married and had three kids, and with one more on the way, being a Power Ranger wasn't paying the bills, and he wanted to focus on supporting his family, so he past down the power to someone else. Meanwhile, Tommy just sort of kept on being a ranger, and didn't care how rich or poor it made him.

Beast Morphers may have been something many, even myself, enjoyed, only others wish Saban Brands wasn’t involved with pre-production before selling the franchise to Hasbro. Ben and Betty some liked, while others consider them cartoony/slapstick, but appreciated no potty humor we had from Victor and Monty, even the Beast Bots and real Blaze and Roxy rarely onscreen. Other than that I was shocked at the end in which the cliffhanger Disney left us with in the RPM finale's resolved.

If you look at Jason's characterization at the back-end of his career, their treatment of him now actually has more sense based on Forever Red. No other character gets a warm treatment than he does with both a "fashionably late" entry, strong introduction to each ranger, and Tommy almost worshipping the man. He is characterized as being looked up to by the legend himself, so it's more natural now to give "demigod" status.

In Steel's case, it's more about wanting to experience the five senses of a human fully. He had advantages but he feels as though there are things he's limited by as his dance number went over. I think it being a slow-burn distention works considering the running gag of him wanting to process and taste food. I think Nate started on it after finding that it could rejuvenate Chaku's organic DNA. At least, that was my impression personally. Devon doubting the Morphing Grid seemed to be him believing the field to be less of an entity and more like a power source before finding that it's a lot more than that. Though I'm stumped about the meteor. I would say that Chaku's arc could've worked better if it was more about his work getting in the way of being with his daughter and deciding that he needs to be there for those important to him. Him becoming human would've been his retirement as Captain.

I think the issue with Devon “not believing in the Morphin’ Grid” was more of a case of him not believing in the Grid as a force of nature. I think you're missing the fact that Steel has aaalways wanted to be fully human and that fact didn't actually come up until chaku came, it was established early on as he was learning more and more about humans. Nate does accept Steel as he is, it shows when Steel asks Nate for the ability to eat and Nate says he wasn't even thinking of that cause he accepts him just the way he is. It's Steel who's always wanted more and hinted at since the beginning as he continued to learn about humans and undestand that as a robot he can't do some of the things humans are able to enjoy. That's why then now we see Nate trying to help Steel achive his dream cause he knows how much it means to him.

The Beast-X King Bazooka (my name for the LiOh Bazooka) was never used, although I still liked the Beast-X King Bow and the Spin Saber. 17. The weapon names. Even I can make much better names for weapons than the Saban writers. 18. The Robotrons having the same cartoony voices 19. The show rarely having modern day elements. Because the show tries to mock MMPR like it’s 1993, that means it’s out of touch with the real world and preventing success whether the producers know it or not. 20. The dialogue. I fucking hate the dialogue so much! It’s annoying to hear cringe getting spit out of the characters. The actors have had so much potential in their roles, but it all went to the dump thanks to whoever’s responsible for the scripts.

Ever since Evox = Venjix plot came to appear, I felt as if this show was trying to make an RPM sequel while combining elements of cross overs/the season finally of Super Megaforce. All in all, the show was well done in showcasing and paying homage to past writers and Power Ranger history. Plus, as an added negative I hated the fact that the entirety was moved from broadcast to broadcast during the Power Rangers Franchise. Due to this issue, I felt as if the show had more legroom with other show providers than current ones. I understand that the Power Rangers is a kid's show but Beast Morphers in my personal opinion feels like it could have stood on its own, however, with season two it felt rushed. It felt like there were a lot of nate/Steel focus episodes that had the basis of nate appreciating Steel more, but he never seemed to ever learn that lesson. Ever since we first meet him, he's constantly shown to not just be interested in, but to be actively seeking out any human experience he possibly can. From learning how to play sports, to owning a pet, I think its clear that Steel is very intent on having the full human experience. Now, he always was shown to have a good heart about not being fully human, and never seemed to of let it slow him down, but I dont think that necessarily means he was always completely satisfied with his robotic body either. I think with the love and support of both his brother, and fellow rangers he was always happy, but not quite content.

i think the only downside to the three-parter was the absence of James Napier, Emma Lahana and Kevin Duhaney. Whilst it makes sense that the latter two would be disinterested coming back to the franchise; with James being a director and Emma hopping onto the MCU Bandwagon. It's still a shame that Kevin couldn't have been reached out and asked if he could make an appearance. (Since, unlike James and Emma, Kevin and Jeffrey are both openly supportive of the show even nowadays. Evident in the fact that Trent appeared a season before.) Plus, taking into account their absence; the writers could've written around it and said that they had helmet hair, or were completely new rangers whose powers were gifted to them by Conner and Kira personally. It makes sense, really. Kira''s music career is flying off the charts and as S.P.D. pointed out, Conner's football camp is a massive success in the future. From their perspective, it makes sense that Kira would hang up her helmet at some point but leave things open, should she decide to reclaim those powers, and better yet, find a new identity that suits better with who she is now whilst embracing her dino days. As for Conner, he always seemed like the "won and done" kind of leader; having gained a girlfriend in Krysta and having lost his powers at the end of Dino Thunder, I feel like he'd need a serviceable reason to become a ranger again, since by all accounts, his contributions are resolved and he has a burned out red stone to prove it. But saying that, I think unlike Kira, Conner would begin to miss the days of being the hero and that would cause an inner conflict for him. But yeah, that's how I see the two after the fact. (Taking S.P.D. and Operation Overdrive into account, of course.)

I have to say that personally, Grid Connection really annoyed me for one reason, the lack of Dino Thunder. In this, I was hoping for something a bit more equal between the three returning Dino teams, each one getting at least an actor back and getting good screen time. However, what we end up getting across all 3 episodes is A. Way more Dino Charge than any, which is not only the most recent of them but also already came back in Ninja Steel, and B. Mighty Morphin gets a big focus with a returning Ranger and villain. Dino Thunder gets neither, sure the suits are there, but as stated in the video the voice could’ve been better, not to mention no actors return, they don’t even bring up the foot soldiers compared to Putties and Vivix, and overall it really feels like the early 2000s aren’t cared about. 90s? Of course! Everyone loves Mighty Morphin! Dino Charge? Of course! The kids love it! Meanwhile my era felt lacking in this, and from the first trailer was a big thing I was excited for! Even in Dimensions in Danger during Ninja Steel, Trent didn’t get to do much compared to most other returning Rangers there. In the crossover movie this was all based on, Abaranger did have returning cast and it all felt much more equal there besides the fact it was a Kyoryuger movie, but in that sense it made sense that they got top billing, it was there movie. In ways I feel like I’m coming off as entitled, but idk. With the Neo Saban era all being so close, and the most love outside that seemingly being more MMPR focused (show, merch, comics) it just feels weird. I know there is early 2000s stuff within all this, but just to me, it doesn’t feel as... marketed? Celebrated? Is this just me, does anyone else feel like this? I’d be interested to see how others feel.

I heard it hard for them get the actor only dino charge and Austin St John are want do it and Jdf shows that its true he and Austin dont want work together again its would so cool have Tommy, Jason and Conor Trent there and Tommy as Black Dino Thunder Ranger! I wonder how Jdf and Austin work for battle of Grid Dinothunder is sadly underratef also the great Game battlecof the Grid forget Dino Thunder and in Space and that is so... In Space also get a bad Treadment. Okay Tj and cassie had short Cameos in in megaforce but not well and the last one Tj was not lobg and Rock instand of Jason was bad. I would love one Time my favorite Red Ranger Andros back...

But that's the most bizarre thing...Doesn't anyone else get the impression that Goldar wasn't exactly _pure_ evil? Sure, in Season 1 he is depicted as being villainous and even gleeful in doing villainous things. However because of his status as an underling, I can't help but feel like he was deferring to whatever authority was above him. More often than not, Goldar's desire to defeat the Rangers came off as a means of obsessively wanting to prove his superiority to them - in particular Jason and Tommy. And even though their personal confrontations with him in Seasons 1 and 2 feature them encountering him while they don't have their powers, he does actively give them a sporting chance. Take Jason's Trial in Green with Evil part 3; Goldar could've easily killed Jason in an outright fight, but instead chose to mock him instead, knowing full well that Jason couldn't defeat him. Then when Jason hides under the fog, Goldar instead gives Jason a chance at survival by searching for him in a rather game-like fashion. When Tommy faces him in Green No More part 2, it's only after Tommy regains his fighting spirit and attacks Goldar that Goldar begins to fight - particularly recognizing that Tommy isn't as weak as he assumed. Heck, there are even times where Goldar knows when a battle is won or lost and accepts that there's no point to fighting; Master Vile and the Metallic Armor part 3 - when Vile commandeers the Juice Bar to throw an "End-of-the-World Party", Goldar encounters the unmorphed Rangers there. He taunts them about how there is no point in fighting as the World is about to be destroyed in just a few more hours, so he leaves them to enjoy what time they have left - sadistically gleeful as he does it, but still oddly reasonable. Plus with how much personality Goldar had displayed over the years, I'm hard-pressed to consider him actually being "evil." I honestly feel like his evil-ness was more a product of his _environment_ and the people around him that promoted him to do Evil; I mean, lets face it can we really say that on their own Squatt, Baboo, and Finster were "evil" or were they just obeying Rita's orders? - and then later, Zedd's orders? Plus, we see a lot more of Goldar's personality when he gets paired up with Rito - sure this is when Goldar became _more_ comic relief; but I think it's really the fact that Rito's comedic lackadaise more or less deconstructed Goldar's outward persona. Goldar's not that tough; deep down, he's really just a big blow-hard with a bit of a goofball streak. Now here comes the first half of Zeo, when Goldar and Rito get amnesia. You would think that even with no memories, if they were 100% evil to the core, they would've gone around stealing food and not caring about scaring or even hurting people, instead of scrounging through the garbage and begging Bulk and Skull to help them. It's the fact that when they are left with absolutely nothing - no memory or experience of their evil environment or peers - they really default back to just being a couple of guys down on their luck; and instead of demanding help, they go and seek it and humbly ask for it. I suppose the only problem with this idea is that as soon as they get their Memories back, they toss Bulk and Skull aside and steal their bike; but c'mon, after all the demeaning tasks they made them do, I'd say they were owed some payback. I guess my point is - a running theme of Power Rangers in Space was the concept of whether or not evil is _inherent_ or if it is _learned._ The show deals with some monsters being unwilling conscriptees forced to serve the will of evil overlords - alluding to the relationship between Astronema and Dark Spectre. Sometimes bad people raised in bad environments can still have good in them if they just try. I feel like with how long we knew Goldar, that he could in-fact be one such conscriptee rather than pure evil... Which is why it was to my never-ending annoyance and disappointment that Goldar - much like Ecliptor who had so much more redeemable qualities - got turned into _Dust_ by the Z-Wave...whereas Rita and Zedd the supposed Mistress and Emperor of All Evil get _redeemed._ That...is _not fair._ I don't want them turned into human, but maybe after Countdown is over, Goldar and Ecliptor could've survived and maybe joined up to wander the Universe seeking redemption or perhaps a place in this new World without Evil. But then again, that's all just me... If they wanted a villain who was _truly evil_ and would've fit nicely with the Dino-Themed Team-Up they were doing... They should've brought back _Mezogog._ (Also I'd like to point out how weird it is that Snyde actually looks like an updated Zeltrax. Am I the only one who gets that?)

Yeah I liked beast morphers but that is probably do to it having actual good stuff in it but it did start with being its own thing and became "lets become a sequel to RPM" which kinda came out of nowhere. I also think Dino Charge was good in the first season then went down hill in the second season but I think the only reason that I think people like it was the cast. All the rangers, excluding James and Zenowing, and Heckyl were great to watch and made you want to watch week after week. Ninja Steel didn't have that cause the script made you hate those rangers. Overall, I think Beast Morphers will just be remembered as the sequel to RPM and that is really all. Everything else in the show is not that amazing compared to RPM, Time Force, In Space, Dino Thunder, etc. And Dino Charge will just be remembered and the 3rd dino season. I hope Dino Fury is as good as RPM, Time Force, In Space, Dino Thunder, etc. and since I didn't like the sentai that Dino Fury is adapted from, I want Dino Fury to be better than that season.

Beast Morphers actually did a lot to disappoint me, but not really until the second half of season 2. There was so much potential and so many good seeds planted, especially in season 1, and then it all got shoved aside to focus on connecting this season to other seasons, which for me, again, was disappointing and felt like a poor choice. Also not a fan of picking away at the mystery of the morphin grid.

I like that this season tried to be more of anniversary season than megaforce did but I’m gonna come out and say it I think it’s time for power rangers hang it up and retire. look I like power rangers but honestly after rpm I feel like the show declined sure Dino charge had it’s moments, dimensions in danger was a pretty decent anniversary episode and even beast morphers has its moments too but I’ve rarely watched any of the new seasons samurai was avarage, megaforce did everything wrong, Dino charge was pretty good but it’s sequel season and finale did a nice big face plant, ninja steel only highlight was the 25th anniversary episode and the rest of it was kinda boring and as for beast morphers again it’s good and has it’s moments and I liked that they tie up that venjix lose end from rpm’s finale and I like that it tried a lot harder to be an anniversary to the show than megaforce did but it still didn’t reach that threshold of the past seasons. While I freely admit that power rangers turbo had its issues (namely divatox Justin wasn’t that bad tbh) it at least was entertaining to watch and the finale was awesome and it lead to one of the best seasons in the franchise and when in space save the franchise from cancellation they build on that hype and gave us 4 great seasons in a row sure wild force had a couple problems as well but it was still great in my opinion and even when wild force was so supposed to be the final season as well they went to New Zealand and gave us ninja storm,Dino thunder and spd 3 incredible seasons granted they kinda went downhill with mystic force and overdrive (Nick sucked and the whole overdrive team were assholes) but then they picked up steam again with jungle fury and rpm but I think rpm is where power rangers hit its peak. Rpm felt like the real finale to power rangers hell It felt like venjix was basically an evil version of zordon I cry everytime gem and Gemma die even linkara admits that he made that how far we’ve come video in rpm because it felt like the show had come so far and done so much and if he did with megaforce it would be ironic and I agree I’ve heard Dino fury will be the final season and honestly I hope it is because and I know some people will probably disagree with me but I think power rangers has overstayed their welcome
