As an older feller, I'm not much a beat box aficionado, though I enjoy hearing/watching people do it. What I can say is that I am a big fan of Mr. Dub FX's music, at least what I've heard on KZitem. Just wonderful stuff, especially his partnering with Mr. Woodnote in "Flow". I just recently upgraded my PC's sound system via a dig. receiver, vintage bookshelf speakers and a cheapo 12" powered subwoofer, and listening to Dub FX again was sonic eargasm!

This is a solid starting point. The funnest part of beat boxing to me tho is recreating the drums to tracks you like using your toolkit of drum sounds. Next video: Classic drum breaks to work with?

What part of the lip surface are you using for the snare sound? I see that it's a lot of pressure, and it looks like a lower lip thing, but I'm still not seeing the twist. There's definitely a twist.
