When there's a Swan swimming accross the road, it's too deep 😂😂 Fair play for getting out guys, what we do for a good breakfast eh! 😁👍

Very envious of you living so close to the Triumph factory 😊 I picked my bike up from the garage yesterday after some minor work needed for it's MOT and took it for a run to bed new pads in. Had to ride in centre of the road in about 4 inches of water. I kept remembering dropping my old trail bike in deeper water many years ago and getting Very wet😳 Thanks for taking us along😊

You're never sure what's below the water line. I once dropped my WR250 during a river crossing. Got seriously wet!

I used to work at Roger Bullivant in Burton many years ago and crossed that bridge to get to work and I remember exactly the same situation and having to cross the Trent in Burton to get to work. The roads to Wetton Mill would have been atrocious too after the storm. You made a good call to go back to the Triumph factory.

We had this kind of "water" in August. Really devastating, because of the rivers that flooded the whole valleys in the central part of my country and in the east-north part of it. Overall you had a great ride. The cake looked very tasty. Enjoyed the video. :) Cheers.

I suspect all the Worcestershire "Road Flooded" signs were in use at the same time, as the Mighty River Severn (at the back of my village) rose nearly 7 meters above summer level and that's well under the record. I do think you're brave still going out on your bikes in such 'crap' weather. Good vid. as always.

We probably didn't appreciate the delayed action rise in the Trent. In hindsight, it is probably to have been expected. Think everyone has had it bad this year. Trouble is in England this year, if you don't head out on damp roads or possible rain, you don't ride much.

7:20 Lost? Even I knew it was Lullington and I've not been there for ages! I'd have gone left and right then Netherseal down to Twycross. At least you've gained your water wings now going through that water! I see from your drone footage that even the road into Barton quarry was underwater, glad I didn't have to go there while it was like that. Looked like a very tasty coffee and cake stop at Hinkley. Actually seen the factory now as I took a load to one J Bloor just behind it a few weeks ago.😉🤣🤣 Enjoyed your splash about hopefully it was a bit drier on the way home! 😁

Coincidentally I called at Wetton Mill on my filmed ride last Saturday though didn’t go in as I wanted a continuous route on my Relive app route, was just out to try roads I hadn’t previously tried. My home town of Chesterfield was badly hit by the floods. There were a lot of closure signs put out by my old colleagues at Highways nut impossible to put diversions anywhere as too many and no realistic alternative routes

@Banditmanuk

We actually are in Leicestershire but all the boundaries are close near us. Walton is Derbyshire, the Trent the Boundary and Staffordshire is the other side. Between the councils, they couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery. The new bridge there was promised years ago. All part of the housing development being built on the old power station site near by. Its a major frustration for locals. No doubt millions will have already been spent
