Having, Photographed, Pat, and Amy’s engagement shoot at the Boston Garden, I knew they wanted to do some fun, creative photography. I’m so glad they did, as I truly enjoy this aspect of my job the most. Everything from the getting ready to the last dance place at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester, Massachusetts with the exception of some shots we did at Bass Rocks. Amy in the bridesmaids were getting ready in one of the suites. We had such nice light to work with and were able to incorporate the fun they were having in the imagery. We did a couple of nice portraits of Pat prior to the first look, which took place on the deck with the water behind them. When we got to Bass Rocks, we had a place to ourselves. Not many Brides would been walking on those sharp rocks in a wedding dress and heals. Because she did, we got some amazing reflections from the water and the bright blue sky. The ceremony was conducted by Pat's sister. It’s so nice when they do this as she can relay a personal touch. Right before the ceremony was just about to end, we got photobombed. Pat served in the military and they had a ship sale up behind them. Everyone was so surprised. We got some great shots. They time today in such a way that we were able to go right to the beach and get some amazing sunset shots even some images with the VW bus. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, dance, and laughter. It was the perfect combination of the candid, but photo journalistic imagery. Combined with some really nice portraiture. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
