This shouldn't be allowed in a secular democracy such as Mauritius so sad. Turning it into an Islamic state 😢

@@risingstar-bn8ep pardon me ?! You're labelling me as racist! How on earth can you compare church bells being rung on one day 'Sunday' to the call to prayer which is five times a day everyday! This is a grossly unfair and disproportionate comparison. Just typical shut down any dissent by labeling the person as racist and intolerant rather than engaging in any thoughtful debate ...

@blossom6473 There is no place for debate as mauritius gives the right to everyone to practice their religion Plus.. seriously churches bells are rang every hour in mauritius😊 and that's perfectly fine. Everyone has the right indeed, this is mauritius and this is beautiful. Indeed keep your ridiculous and non sense debate outsid of our island, respectfully it's not relevant here. Maybe try this debate in Europe? Wishing you all the best😊 sending love (a Mauritian muslim who values mauritus diversity)@@blossom6473

@@risingstar-bn8ep with all due respect I am a Mauritius citizen so I don't need to be told what to do by you. I live in Mauritius for a few months each year and I'm sorry this is absolute nonsense what you've said about church bells being rung every hour. Please don't lie and treat me like an idiot. Thank you 😊

@blossom6473 sure🤭 I guess you didn't go to the capital of mauritius when you came here. Since you only spend some months in Mauritius, let me give you some insights, the call to prayer isn't going to make mauritius a Islamic country. Those who live in mauritius the whole year have no problem with the call to prayer being given 5 times a day☺️ so I don't see where you are coming from, your comment about the fact that it shouldn't be allowed just shows your ignorance. You see, here we all live in harmony and are fine with each other celebrating their festivals and practicing their beliefs. I suggest you come to Mauritius for longer and visit the capital which is shown in the video, where bell churches are rang every hour and azaan 5 times a day and nobody have any issue with any of them. But then again, nobody here in Mauritius🤭🤭
