This looks great! ❤ I learned to knit only 3 weeks ago and have seen several different, albeit similar, techniques for achieving this very lovely, nice, even, crocheted looking edge. I'm not sure which method works best or is easiest to remember but this seems closest to the method I use. I'll definitely give this a try. Thank you for this valuable tip!🙏😊❤

❓❓Am I getting the same results? I'm a newbie and I just realized the difference in the easy-to-use member method I've been using. I knit across until 2 loops remain and I knit those two stitches together, turn my work, slip purl the first loop, yarn over, then knit the stitches across to the end again until 2 loops remain and keep repeating. My edges look nice but is it different from yours? I'm still figuring things out about knitting. Thanks for the demo!🙏👍❤

It's a matter or doing it several times until you get it. It happens to everyone.

Do you think it would work when knitting a heel flap?

I don't think so. The edges would be too thick.

Edging on a baby blanket?

Yes. I would still use garter or seed stitch on the edges, if the stitch tends to curl.
