Lecture notes 🖊️ To wait with good intentions not to utter a single word of impatience... Perseverance Endurance Restraint Diligence Allah said we've made some of humans as test for you... Will you not be patient.... So patience on behavior of people is also ebadah Who are the Warsa of jannah Al firdous.. Those who give charity in ease and in difficulty. Those who control thier anger Those who forgive for the sake of Allah swt REPEL BAD WITH THAT WHICH IS GOOD..... If somone do bad with you return that with good... And your for might become your friend.... Also if you have bad thoughts etc... Follow them with good thoughts.. Ask help from Allah swt when you are confused and shaiytan really tempts you to commit sin just the way Yousuf asked Help from Allah swt Leave something for the sake of Allah swt and replace it with something even better Be patience at the time when calamity hits you... Utter no bad word for Allah swt know your situation better than you he would never ever leave you or forget you or do something bad to you. You might think of your limited knowledge that it is bad but Allah swt knows and you don't know Knowledge give you sabr Sabrun jameeel Worshipping Allah swt Evading evil Being patient to the behavior of others... being patient when calamity hits you Patience and certain gives you leadership When you change or someome change... Attach with knowledge and gain elam... One if changed and didn't have any knowledge.... Is a change of 3 months... So getting knowledge after becoming practicing makes you consistent in deen ... So knowledge is the key..and to gain knowledge you need sabr... And lots and lots of sabr... Crux.... Have sabr... Worshipping Allah swt In doing good.. In refraining from bad In patient with others behaviors... Get knowledge... And for that you need sabr... And sabr comes from sabr... Do efforts... Don't set and relax.... Design circulam.... Start with names of Allah swt.... Ask Allah swt for a heart which is Greatful... Which understand what is good and what is bad... May Allah guide us All.. Ameen JazakAllah

Sunnah Prayer The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: “If anyone prays in a day and a night twelve rak'ahs voluntarily (supererogatory prayer), a house will be built from him in Paradise on account of these (rak'ahs).” (1) - 2 before the Fajr - 4 Rak'at before and 2 after Dhuhr - 2 after the Maghrib - 2 after the Isha “The Sunnah prayers after the obligatory prayers were legislated to make up for the deficiency in the obligatory prayer, and the Sunnah prayers before the obligatory prayers are to cut the Devil from his greed." Important takeaways from this lecture In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful Patience has great status in the sight of Allah Almighty and in Islam. Patience is of best from deeds and has the great reward with no limit. Allah Almighty said in Holy Quran: “Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without Hisaab (without limit, calculation, and estimation).”(Quran, 39:10). There is great reward only for those among us who are patient with the Decree of their Lord. In this world, we face many difficulties or trials and sufferings but we have to be patient because Allah Almighty loves those who did Patience (Sabr) in a difficult time. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Whoever persists in being patient, Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience.” (Al-Bukhari) Narrated Abu Sa`id: Some people from the Ansar asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (to give them something) and he gave to everyone of them, who asked him, until all that he had was finished. When everything was finished and he had spent all that was in his hand, he said to them, '"(Know) that if I have any wealth, I will not withhold it from you (to keep for somebody else); And (know) that he who refrains from begging others (or doing prohibited deeds), Allah will make him contented and not in need of others; and he who remains patient, Allah will bestow patience upon him, and he who is satisfied with what he has, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And there is no gift better and vast (you may be given) than patience." Prophet Muhammad SAW said: "As-Sabr (the patience) is illumination." (Sahih Muslim). According to Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim: There are three types of patience Firstly, practicing patience to fulfill the obligations and to do righteous. Secondly, abstaining from evil and prohibited acts. And thirdly, practicing patience during times of hardship without complaints.” Patience is waiting with a good attitude O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. Surah Al-Baqarah And be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance. Surah Al-Muzzammil And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely.” Surah Al-Ibrahim Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good; Surah Al-Imran And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend. Surah Al-Fussilat And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home - Surah Al-Ar-Rad Principles of enjoining good and forbidding evil Enjoining good and forbidding evil is one of the essential teachings of Islam. It is the pillar of a justly-ordered society and the guardian of true faith. Everyone is obligated to acknowledge good and reject evil in their hearts, at the very least. Enjoining good and forbidding evil is based upon three principles, or prerequisite and necessary conditions: Knowledge (Required before) Gentleness (Required during it) Patience (Required after it) It is not appropriate for someone to enjoin good or forbid evil unless they have knowledge of Islamic rulings and their relevancy to real-life situations, they are able to be patient and forbearing with the harm this duty entails, and they are gentle with people as much as possible. Ibn Taymiyyah So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people? Surah Al-Kahf Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Seven people Allah will give them His Shade on the Day when there would be no shade but the Shade of His Throne (i.e., on the Day of Resurrection): And they are: a just ruler; a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah; a person whose heart is attached to the mosques, two men who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the sake of Allah; a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer and) says: 'I fear Allah'; a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the left hand does not know what the right has given; and a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes become tearful". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] [As luqman said to his son] O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination. Surah Al-luqman Six Stages of Grief Denial Anger Bargaining Depression Acceptance Finding Meaning Suhayb ibn Sinān Ar-Rūmi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How wonderful the affair of the believer is! Indeed, all of his affairs are good for him. This is for no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is grateful to Allah, which is good for him. And if something bad happens to him, he has patience, which is good for him." “And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs.” Surah Al-sajdah Through patience and certainty, leadership in the religion is obtained. - Ibn Taymiyyah In Surah Al- Asar, Allah swears an oath by the 'Time' and says that mankind is in a state of loss; exception, however, is made of people who are characterized by four qualities: [ 1] faith; [ 2] righteous deeds; [ 3] advising each other for Truth; and [ 4] advising each other for patience. This is the only path to salvation in this world, as well as in the next world. The Qur'anic prescription comprises, as we have just seen, of four elements. The first two of them relate to man's own personal betterment, and the other two relate to other people's guidance and reform. [Ibn Kathir]

In the nutshell: Patience is one the most important quality to have, If a person is having patience then he/she will pass any kind of test from Allah (SWT), And in the end the reward for being patient is definitely great, All the stories that we listen of our prophets tells us that how much important patience is for everyone, The crux of every story of our prophets is Patience,,, Definitely Definitely Allah (SWT) is with them who are patient. No matter how many problems a person face but Patience will surely surely work as a healing in the end. And the meaning of patience is Waiting with positive attitude ❤

The Forgotten Sunnah - Standing in the Rain 🌧️ ☔ 📖 Anas narrated: "It rained upon us as we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ removed his garment (from a part of his body) until the rain fell on him. We said, 'Messenger of Allah, why did you do this?' He said, 'Because the rain has just come from the Exalted Lord.'" [Sahih Muslim] 📖 Haakim in his book Al-Mustadrak narrates this hadith with the following words: “When the rain came down from the heavens, the Prophet ﷺ used to remove his [top] garment until the rain fell on his back.” [Haakim's 'Al-Mustadrak'] 📖 Imaam Ashafi’ee mentions in his book Al-Umm: It is narrated by Ibn Abbaas رضي الله عنه: That the rain fell from the heavens so he told his servant to bring out his mattress and saddle so that the rain may fall on it. Abu Jawzaa’ then asked Ibn Abbas: Why are you doing that, may Allah have mercy on you? He (Ibn Abbas) then said: Do you not read the book of Allah: ❝And we have sent down from the heavens water that is blessed..❞ {Surat Qāf 50: Verse 9} Therefore I would like the blessing to fall (incur) on it. 🤲 اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا Allahummaj-'alhu soyyiban naafi’an O Allah, make it a beneficial rain. Imaam Barbahaaree رَحِمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ said: And to have eemaan that along with every raindrop there is an angel who descends from the sky with it until he places it wherever Allah, the Mighty and Majestic has commanded him to. There is no doubt that Allaah, the Majestic and Most High, sends down the rain from the sky in measured proportion. He, the Most High, said: وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ And We sent down rain from the sky in due measure and We caused it to settle in the earth. {Surah Al-Mu'minūn 23 : Verse 18} Allah, the Majestic and Most High, preordained the coming down of rain and He gave it its due measure and amount and the earth where it should fall. And He distributes it, He, the Perfect and Most High, however He wishes. So, He dispatches it. And He commands and it rains. And He commands and it stops. And along with it are angels. And there occurs in the description of the angel Meekaa`eel that he is entrusted with the raindrops (al-qatr) and with the plants. So, the angels carry out duties, which Allaah has entrusted them with and from that is al-qatr (the raindrops). [Reported by Ibn Jareer At-Tabariyy in his Tafseer, Abu Shaykh in his book Al-`Azama as also being the saying of another Taabi`ee Al-Hasan al-Basri]
