That hawk bathing was amazing, I didn't know they did that. And that skunk with the stripes was unusual. Good watering hole.

It's always heartening to see how non human mammals and other animals such as birds can share one water hole. That skunk is a rare one with non connecting stripes (forget what they are called) and so many Cotimandi (sp?) with those long tails. As always....thanks for sharing...

Hey Jason, love your videos! I have a suggestion that might make viewers more appreciative and it could be educational as well. Maybe posting time stamps with the animal identifications in the descriptions, or a small pop up on the screen. I think it would add something your channel needs :) for the viewers that aren’t as versed in the animal kingdom as we are. Thank you for all your hard work Jason! Happy Hiking.

Thank you so much for taking the time to set up the cameras, editing, posting, etc. It is amazing to watch the various animals coming to the water holes. it is like a little piece of Heaven. Is it just one pond or several? I love thinking there are bears in AZ. I'd love to just sit under a tree and watch them come and go.

hey Jason, I put a trail camera in the AZ forest this Summer. In less than 4 weeks I caught 7 different bears in the exact same location. It was about 100 yards from a pond. Does this seem like a normal or unusually high concentration of bears?
@JasonMillerOutdoors
Жыл бұрын
Yes, that may have been the only water source so it brought all the bears to that area. They could of also showed up because of the Bear Rut (breading season) which brings bears from all over.

@@JasonMillerOutdoors Oh, I forgot to mention. I was resting by the pond, when I heard splashing. I looked over to my right and saw a bear was in the pond taking a bath up to its neck. lol. There was a bit of 'stress' when it finally noticed me, but we both went our own way with no harm done.
