We own the DL3 230 and love it! We added a BBQ grill to cook at anchor. Hello from across the pond, USA.!.

14 people? Hell, 20 hillbillies and 5 cases of beer easy! These are very common in the US. This is a very nice pontoon, better than most. They are perfect for lakes and families. Compared to boats you can buy in Europe the price is outstanding. Also, these things are endlessly rebuildable in your backyard. 😅

It looks like something from the 1970s that Boss Hogg would be proud to own.

Thanks for sharing Hugo. Not sure how you managed to stretch the tour to over 12 minutes. 😆 Personally, I’d rather but pretty much any other boat on the market than a pontoon thingy. Plus with a load of food and drink, but no heads, not sure how that’d work?! 🤢

A head can be installed in the changing area. You, as is typical of the British, do not understand Americans.

I've owned several pontoons and presently own 2024 Regency 230 LE3. Most if not all pontoons can safely and comfortably handle 3-5' waves with a swell period between 1-10 seconds. I live on the West coast of Florida and spend the majority of my time up and down the coast of Gulf of Mexico. There would be no reason to take a pontoon more than a couple of miles off the shores of gulfs, seas or oceans. These boats are made for safe family fun. I would never take 12-14 people out unless it was just for a sunset cruise up and down the rivers that lead into the Gulf. That many people on a vessel will definitely get the attention of our Sheriffs and Coast Guards. 14 people means 14 life jackets, 14 towels, too many coolers and a lot of yelling to sit down.

Given the recent weather here on the South Coast of UK I can think of about one calm day over the summer where it would have been useful. As to the wrap around unit for changing and the heads, my mum used to wrap me in an orange and white towelling changing robe with a hole in the top and drawstring neck. The absolute height of style some 55 years ago 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It's always interesting to see different types of boats. I'm not sure if this boat is for working at sea. To me it's more for Lakes and Rivers in the US or Europe. I think most of our lakes have speed limits now. But she certainly interesting and her helm instruments are compact.

MarineMax sells these pontoon boats by the megatruckload. The Harris Sunliner. Of course, their upgraded features, is stainless steel or carbon fiber poles, cushion covers, screen protectors, and upgraded speakers. Of course pontoon boats here are generally slow and meant for lake fishing, maybe saltwater fishing close to docks or the sandbar. Myndad had one and he took it out 4 times and hated it. Never took it out again and the trailer axle. The price for this though is about 5 times the cost of the ones in thhe US.

It’s a no from me, not sure it is made for our climate or seas. Where would you keep it and how do you cover it to protect it from the weather when not in use

The existence of this privacy tent for getting changed tells a lot about the differences in prudence between Europe and the United States 😅 But if you fit a Porta Potty in it, it actually starts to make sense :-)

Are there any lakes in Europe that allow outboards any more? I sure as heck wouldn't go to sea in one.

They aren't going to sell many of those 😆 No use on the sea and there aren't that many lakes allowing powered craft outside of Scotland - well none you can get any speed on.

Absolutely hideous and almost functional, needs a place to store all that used beer. I'd say it's not really suited to the UK weather but much more at home in Florida.
