Correction Portuguese did not colonize Ghana. They were the first European to visit the region known today as Ghana but they did not colonize. They only traded goods and later slaves. We were though colonized by the DanesDutchBritish In that order

I was born in Germany but my parents are Ghanaian. I cannot speak twi. I'm not quite proud about Ghana because they are CORRUPT. Government is not like in western world, no good extraordinary transportation like trams and underground no big cities like New York. We are supposed to be rich like Dubai. We have all the resources available as a people but I don't understand what is going on. Just SAD otherwise I would be in `Ghana just like my second home in Germany.

Dwane Wade You sound silly show me any country that had not been corrupted. You're the self hating silly people who don't wanna acknowledge their African root.
@thecrypto5340

Francis E Unfortunately this is GHANA which is so CORRUPT. By the way I would love to see BIG changes in Ghana because we cannot afford to have too much of CORRUPTION. We just cannot afford these things are happening. The government are something else. Why do people in Ghana protesting about prices that have gone up in recent years or other issues that were not good at all. Why does not the Government support children for Education from all background or even who are so POOR and cannot pay tuition or school fees to be able to participate at school. You should know that brother because you know school, college and obviously University are not free for anyone. I do not like the Government unless they start caring kids teenagers and adults who want to contribute the country in Ghana. Things in Ghana have to change. I do love my African root but if we start caring one another and work together under one God then I will be extremely proud how we as African people can achieve this.
@AS-rw7rf

Dwane Wade why don't you use your real name nothing you saying over here makes any sense. Which country has a clean slate as far as corruption is concerned not even united states. So cut out the ignorance I can say without any Fear of contradiction that you are even not a Ghanaian.
@bijoubaidoe3280
7 жыл бұрын
Dwane Wade almost every country in Africa is corrupt so you can prosecute just Ghana for that and please don't talk about Ghana's economical state if you don't know whats happening first hand in the country. you did your research or you acc lived here you would see the amazing progress we have made. more infrastructures have been built, are tourism industry is very good and more and more people are getting educated everyday. of course we do have a long way to go but which country doesn't. the USA might be big and nice but look at how high their crime rate is, every country has its flaws
@bijoubaidoe3280

and don't forget its the white countries (including Germany) who stole from our homeland in the first place and it still affects us now so you have no right to judge us if we are still trying to get out of the ditch they put us in
