Beck wrote a masterpiece and The Flaming Lips knew it. They were an amazing back up. 2002 was a totally different era back then.

I love this record, i listened to this when my grandfather passed away and i thought it was about that, the string arrangements are powerful, something from the likes of scott walker or nick drake

I come here in fear. But, I adore Seachange. I got it when it came out and I just had catastrophes happen. Then, more every time I listened to it. There's only one other I fear (not quite as much, but close) - Nike Drake's Five Leaves Left. Every time I listen to it, I lose my job - once I lost my house. Foundations. But I adore both albums. I'm not allowed to have them.

Couldn't agree more about Sea Change and Five Leaves Left - two of the most devastatingly beautiful albums! And of course Nick Drake has had a big influence on Beck, who covered this, Parasite... 🎶 kzitem.info/news/bejne/uqdrm32XcoNeiaAsi=oKFhhAaD3Behhj3X
