One of the greatest and most underrated performers of all time. Same goes to the band.

When did we forget that good music can be fun? That's one thing I miss about the 90s. Beck could be weird, poetic, postmodern, but you could dance around your kitchen to it or blast it at a dorm party.

I love how Beck does a little dance and then has a guy walk up with a nicely framed mirror so he can suavely comb his hair.

Holy shit I love Beck!!!! He puts folk, blues, funk, hip-hop, punk, rock, jazz, classical into a pot and stirs it. And the finished product is BECK. I love it, I remember watching this as a younger teen...I was instantly a fan. I'm extremely happy he won "Album of the Year". I don't usually care about the Grammys, but I'm glad he was recognized as one of the best artists in music. "Morning Phase" is a great record. Each of his albums are good for different reasons, I don't really dislike any of them. I just go through phases where I listen to some more than others. RANT OVER....sorry.

I was on the Beck’s Odelay world tour 1996, few ppl knew of him in Portugal, the concert he gave at “Imperial ao vivo” festival in July was the best concert I ever attended ! Holly sh*it what a show ! The beats, DJ Swamp, the choreography !! Still unbeaten today imo 👌

I was hooked from this performance on. I was in HS and didn't quite know what to think if it...but I understood all of the cultural references in this performance and knew I FELT WHAT HE WAS SAYING/DOING 😎🤘🏽... I miss the days of being artistically blindsided and loving it...loving the new sensations of it all.

Samples aren't off beat accidentally...the horns/sax whatever the fuck are supposed to be on an offbeat because every second drum measure, they come in late purposely and end on time to give a trippy feel. Listen to the studio recording

I'd say the guitar tech was sacked that night, or the guitarist could have tuned up on the quite parts, fantastic vid but the out of tune guitar lets it down.
