Convex Sharpening - Removed the Coating - Upgraded Handles and Hardware
I put together this video to show how to strip or remove the black coating from a Becker Knife & Tool BK2 Campanion (or really any coated knife from Kabar, ESEE, etc.). I used a paint stripper made by Klean Strip which was purchased at Home Depot for about $6.
I also show some other modifications I've made including micarta handles, stainless steel hardware, a leather sheath from hedgehog leatherworks, and convex sharpening with the sandpaper and leather strop method.
