So good! I loved the "some days we feel good about our bodies, some days we feel bad about our bodies, but every day we respect our bodies" that is SO good. beautiful advice.

she is so right. The last time I truly exercised was 6 years ago and it wasn't to become skinny or "hot" but because of the way I felt after each session. I felt so bubbly and refreshed and serotonin levels were amazing. Now, i don't like my body and the thought of exercising is soo dreadful that I could never just get up and exercise. I'm changing the reasons to do this. I want to feel powerful and confident.

As someone who doesn't work out to loose weight, but because of how great i feel about myself. And for all the reasons you mentioned! This resulted in me being a 22 year old gymnast (i started at 16, so a typical retirement age), i am older than most of my coaches and i still love it! The things my body can do, what i can achieve and that more i have ahead of me is exillerating! And guess what: i'm not skinny, i am not the stereotypical gymnast, but what i am is strong. What i am is proud and most of all i am enough.

Now this is the advice we need to hear about living with and accepting our bodies - the bad days, the good days, from a place of honesty and awareness. Beautiful message!!

This was an awesome video. I definitely resonate with you. More power to you and I hope you’re doing well. I have been binge and diet free for five whole months now and I am loving it but not always loving my body.💚

This is amazing ! I’ve never worked out for anything other than my weight. I love the idea of working out for my mental health instead. Thank you 💜💜

Bethany has taught me so much and safely guided me into a place of self-acceptance without shame. What a feeling it is to be free of judgement from not only myself, but my judgement and misunderstandings of others. She’s truly a treasure.

Its wonderful she was able to do these things but for many people with eating disorders are not able to just “give myself permission to eat “ what about women who binge? Are they supposed to give themselves the permission to “not eat”? If were as easy to just decide to not eat as much when I’m emotional, then I would have said goodbye to ED years ago.

And what's wrong with that? We are the only one who are living inside our bodies and minds. We need to take care of ourselves. Nobody else is going to do that for us.
