Yes, these are dark days. And I wish I could just flip on the light switch. But in the absence of such sorcery, let’s help each other find the opportunities to slow down, listen, and learn together. Let’s help one another lengthen the distance between match and fuse, to find and work with our allies. Let’s be golems, standing up for ourselves, our community, our tradition and our truth. And let’s remember our newest Jewish adults, who tell us that, despite it all, they love being Jewish.
