This still bothers me after all these years. What was done to the Bee Gees was so wrong on so many levels. I'm from the US and I'm still so sorry the way they were treated. Barry had every right to say what he did. Bless his heart. But these wonderful talented men showed everybody what they're made of going on to wrtie songs and make music into the 2000's. They never gave up and also showed the world they are THE BEST BAND EVER!!! Way to go guys!!!👏👏👏 My thanks to them for their songs, their music especially for being incredible human beings. Miss you Mo, Robin and Andy😥 I love the Brothers Gibb with all my heart now and forever♥️♥️♥️♥️ BEE GEES FOREVER💙💙💙🎶🎸

That's what I don't understand. There was nothing wrong with disco. The problem was it was so big everyone wanted to capitalize on it so everyone wanted a piece of the pie including the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart(which was not bad) & what came out after that was utter rubbish like disco duck to begin with. That destroyed disco. And BTW in my country we still used the term disco till the late 90's. Today it's called house music

Bee Gees had 6 studio albums in the 60's, 9 in the 70's, 3 in the 80's, 3 also in the 90's and one in the 00's. But its no big deal they had 3 in each of these decades, cause Living Eyes (1981) and Still Waters (1997) are two of their very best, in my opinion. Quality over quantity. E.S.P is good too. Ever wondered how we got to have the crap that passes as music today? Because some guys in their little heads thought they knew better, that because a group is so succesful there must be something wrong with it and it should be stopped. The Bee Gees weren't even full disco, the songs in the movie soundtrack were made even before they were asked to contribute, and the following album Spirits having flown is not a disco album either. Again, to the talentless hacks who thought they could distinguish music better than one of the most succesful groups ever, so not thank you for the garbage that can be so easily found on "the air waves" (figure of speech, of course) today.

Yes Barry was incredibly good looking but Robin was so cute too! Yikes! Help! Loved the Bee Gees since I was a little girl!

marie lonsdale Robin was cute. But, he wasn’t good looking like Barry, Maurice, and Andy.

@@brianmessitte8462 The best looking Gibb brother was Andy. Then Barry and yes Robin was very handsome too. The least attractive one was Maurice but that is just my opinion but he wasn't bad looking at all. I can see where other women would have found him handsome. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

All handsome...it just depends on the eye of the beholder. To me, when you consider personality & creativity & overcoming adversity, the rankings are B, M, R, & A.

Why did Robin always have to say "we've been writing & producing hit records for other people"?? In later years, no wonder Barry would give a look to just hush, especially considering the twins only helped write some songs for each, while Barry did the rest.

To think the Lp that made them super famous made them also the most unpleasant group in the world. All becoz of one guy. This ESP got me hooked on the Bee Gees but it was One who made me a fan & I knew their was something special about them and man was I right when I collected their older material. So I couldn't understand why a very popular & successful artist got ridiculed disrespected especially by the Americans. I remember they got bad reviews when releasing lp's after ESP & they were struggling to get a major hit in the USA besihdes the single One. It was only during the late 90's that they started to respect the brother's Gibb & with the introduction of KZitem made them even more popular among younger generations. I'm sure many ppl at Comiskey Park who burned their records are probably regretting they did that.

Bee Gees really did mess up this song on the ESP album. The song would have been a hit, probably in the top 10 if it wasn't for its introduction, introduction that hindered the success of the song. The song ESP should have been plain drums, no vocal introduction on the ESP album, the way it was supposed to be. Even though they have other versions of this ESP song, it did not compensate for the screw up version on the album. The Bee Gees were still suffering resistance/rejection to their music in 1985, particularly in the United States.
