The vocals were live. The music was from the album track. Note, this was completely standard for these 60s and 70s TV studio appearances and from an audio-technical standpoint, pretty much the way it had to work then.

Barry said they were recording an album in Miami and they crossed a bridge to get there. He thought the rhythmic noise it made as the car drove over the bridge sounded like a song. That's how this song was born, that intro is him replicating the sound of the car driving over the bridge. Barry Gibb is one of the most talented singer-songwriters ever.

Absolutely. I was curious how many songs they’d written so I just googled.....1031 songs with all 3 brothers. I’m sure Barry has written many more since losing Moe and Robin. Unbelievable!!!

I don’t understand why no one is paying attention to robin, that gorgeous, gorgeous man. The man with the cutest hairstyle, the most handsome face, the most adorable eyes, the sexiest buns, and the sweetest outfit. A true legend. He was extremely beautiful when dancing, sitting, singing, standing, even when smoking he was such a hottie 😍

First got to know this song in the 1980s through the animated videoclip with the Jive Talking version with a mystery singer (George Michael). Back then I didn't know it was a Bee Gees song or a cover with George. Just loved it.
