Rare to have a Customer who wants a hedge cut to millimetre precision but they got the right guys in for the job. great job guys

WOW! GREAT job, you 2! Loved the whole vid but I especially enjoyed the camera angle that showed the finished project. Almost looked like you used a drone to capture the final result! A hard job well done.

Looks good. Would like to see an update on this hedge in say mid May, see what it looks like. I get asked to do a fair few reductions and I am always nervous of doing them as they can look very bad for a year or so. I make a point of saying to customers this is going to be a bit brutal -but mine are usually twenty five feet down to 10 feet tall.......

Thanks mate, if I get a chance and remember I will mate. Should come back pretty well, the only one I get a little nervous on is yew cut backs, as can be a 1 or 2 years to look better, but us you I always say it will or may look a little sad for a bit. 👍👍

Did a beech around January myself both sides and top cut back like yourself. I use the stihl hedge trimmer HS 82 RC 30" eating machine m8. Myself to had to use the small chainsaw on some off the thick branches. Great job again.

My mate Andy was using a hs82, it's a beast, great machine but I can't use it for any amount of time, just to heavy for me. 👍👍👍

How do you get a beech hedge to grow so nicely compacted? I’ve a mature beech hedge that still look like a line of individual trees? Also loses its leave in winter so no privacy at all. Thanks

the arrangement with your mate looks like a good set up jason.bet you get some work on that patch off that one. i tend to when i work in small estate where everybody talks to each other.stay safe mate.

Hi,There's lot of KZitem and fb pricing, but honestly most is just rubbish, in my opinion, the very best way to learn how to price is by being out there doing the job, you will make mistakes, as we all have done, but over time your find your right pricing, never worry what others earn or say they earn. That's pretty much the best advice I can give. 👍

Hi, very useful video, I have a tall beech hedge in my back garden, only 30 feet wide but nearly 20 feet tall and leaves are all brown now/some falling off. I've been quoted £300 to trim it! I'm probably going to have a go myself but the height is obviously an issue. Can you recommend a good long trimmer for this work? Thanks.

All depends on height, but I'd say a 8 foot hedge, 4 foot across the base 👍👍

LTD uk chipper non branded, I set the blade and anvil as close as I dare, it does chip really fine. 👍

I prefer not using machinery with noise and fumes. Could this be done with equally good results with loppers, secateurs and occasional hand saw? (And a little more time maybe! I don't mind a bonfire for the debris)
