For newbies, you should explain when you wash the jars... Especially broth canning as they can be more volatile if moved/jostled too much after removing from the canner. Do you let the canner sit for a bit before taking off the lid, etc. Nice otherwise. Tho, citrus cal out here in the East is pretty expensive compared to vinegar.

Where do you buy citric acid? Great video BTW! I've never thought to roast my bones in the roaster, I've always roasted them in the oven, which is silly, since the roaster is an oven. I've made some very nice bone broths in my roaster since I bought a used one off of Facebook Marketplace.

Next time you do that, put them in the oven and roast them and then make your broth out of your Pan.

The roaster oven goes up to 450° and that's what I roasted them at before making the broth. I wouldn't want my oven on for 48 hours 🙂💗

It's tossed out with the bones. It grossed me out. I know how beneficial it is but I just can't get over how repulsive it is to me.
