Description of Mouth-Watering Beef Kababs
What are Kababs (also known as Kebabs or Kebobs)?
Kababs originates from cuisines of the Middle East, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Pakistan and India. Kababs are one of the tastiest appetizers and snacks and a culinary item that brings immense satisfaction to the preparer. Kababs are deliciously spiced using ground beef or lamb. The kabab mix is flavored with earthy and exotic spices like coriander, cumin, turmeric, grated onions, garlic/ginger paste to name but a few. From this lovely mixture which is carefully kneaded emerges small round balls or oblong shaped kababs which are shaped with gentle 'maternal' hands and then deep fried in oil or grilled in the oven. These delicious kababs are served with different types of chutneys like coconut chutney, red chutney, tamarind chutney and raita. Kababs are integral part of a delicious ensemble consisting of samosas, bateta wadas and other delicious finger foods to enjoy under the summer sun with your friends and family!
Grilled kababs are a specialty in itself and I am getting many requests for this recipe. Stay tuned!
Keep practicing in making these kababs. Practice makes perfect. Enjoy!
