Great interview. Can't wait to see what Matt and Keegan can do with the World Champ showing up at Unbound this year. Gonna be great. I hope they show Mohoric and co. how its done!

330-360 for 3 hours is absolutely insane. But also did this man just say he has 465 FTP??? (510/1.1). I don’t even dream about numbers like that.

fucking mental. interesting about what he said when he was trying out with UAE though - he clearly has the raw numbers for world tour but every discipline is so diverse and nuanced

Think we discovered insane training loads don’t always equal insane performance. MB, KS and SGV seem to have left at least some of their legs at the training camp.

Hard to believe this guy could not cut it at WorldTour level given his power numbers

there is a lot more to sticking world tour than power numbers. Compared to the kind of riding and racing he is doing now it really stressful, you don't get much say in what you are doing (unless you are a star).

Thanks for the video and the session! I watched a video with Matt Beers who also trains with John. From this point in the video he speaks about his Metabolic interval training session. When he focuses on using lactic acid as fuel, "buffer" lactic acid". I am wondering if anyone knows at which zone, it is FatMax that he is riding at most of this workout before he does his 10-20 hard effort in the end? Also does anyone know if he is eating anything before and during these workouts? kzitem.info/news/bejne/13eX1X2YgGdlnJwsi=WejheWrt16yAYNQz&t=404

The ads you put in for sponsored products are irritating and misleading - "why not give it a try?" You're not "giving it a try" if you have to pay full price to "try it", you're just purchasing it. If you want people to "try" products, then offer a free trial. Otherwise stop being so disingenuous with your product placement adverts.

The ad literally starts with “todays podcast is brought to you by x” Sponsors pay for the show, without sponsors there is no show
