Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! This pedal does so many different sounds... the video could have been even longer ;) And yes, I needed to rig up another camera for those settings, but I think it's useful to show as well! Cheers and rock on :)

Great demo and info. I always learn something from your videos. I like this Nectar pedal a lot and will be owning one in the near future. I’m sure a couple of my other pedals are going to become obsolete. I haven’t tried a Beetronics pedal yet so I’m pretty excited. Thanks

Thanks Brian! I'm really glad you find my videos useful. The Nectar was a big surprise for me too (and it is also the first Beetronics pedal I've owned, although I had briefly tried a couple of others in the past). The great thing with the Nectar is its simplicity and its flexibility - it might only have three knobs, but with them and the drive and fuzz sounds, you can cover so much tonal ground. It's a lovely pedal in every respect, and I hope you manage to get your hands on one soon!

It sounds like something between Expandora and Proco Rat. Great video 👍

Thanks! You know it's funny, but I actually felt that the Nectar goes a bit Ratty on higher gain settings, particularity on the Fuzz side - and I'm a huge Rat fan! Should've said that in the video ;) I've not heard of the Expandora - just watching some videos about it now, and I do hear similarities also! Would love to find one of those to check out as well :)

Nice review. I particularly liked the overdrive tones into an overdriven amp and the low gain fuzz tones. Talking about similar pedals, I was thinking about the EHX Germanium 4 Big Muff π. I have no personal experience with it, but like you I am exploring the world of fuzz and it is one of the pedals that has been on my radar. It is a dual pedal with two separate circuits, an overdrive and a distortion (fuzz) side, which can be used independently or together. On youtube video reviews it sounds like it has some interesting tones.

What a cool little box with a lot of great sounds! Really nice. I have seen the video with you and Andy trying out some different fuzz. Try out the fuzzes from analogwise pedal from Poland. I have the DROP /DED Fuzz and it's great! 😊🤘

Yes, it's super versatile and sounds great! A really fun pedal indeed, and it would've been very much at home in the video with Andy too :) It's a great fuzz for beginners because it's so easy to use and dial in! I am checking the Analogwise website now... the DROP/DED looks super cool. What kind of a fuzz is it? Tonight I will be checking out all of their pedals I think ;)

I respect your honesty and am greatly encouraged, as i share the same plight. I so appreciate people who can play lead amazingly, but I have always felt insecure about not being able to play lead guitar like many of my friends. But, I realized something.....we all learn things in different ways and at different speeds. I also realized that i was betraying my own unique way of learning things musically by constantly comparing myself to friends that are on TV and touring with amazing bands, friends that I went to High School with, Friends that graduated years and years after me who passed me by. It's important to understand that just because we may not be able to do something at a particular time in life yet, does not mean we will not one day be able; given our unique genetic make up and brain chemistry, to ultimately reach that level that we've always wanted. As a former educator I know for a fact that there are multiple intelligence's, and that its wise to learn how to appreciate and find ways honor them for what they are as they are presented to us and, to the degree that we are able to. Just because someone can't play the way someone else does, should not necessitate our need to validate or invalidate their abilities that are equally as respectable in their own regard. Bottom line is this...This video is AWESOME!! Thanks to THIS demo, which emulates my exact playing style and abilities,...I am going to purchase this pedal. I need no further research. FYI...This is the first demo I watched on this pedal ... 🤎🤎😇Thank you and God Bless You! @@RichWordsMusic
