Modern psych-rock: The pedal. 65,536 patterns? What a coincidence, Uncle Em's bail is set at 65,536 dollars! Beetronics always throws together a bunch of really weird good sounds together, they're like OBNE's cousin you found experimenting with matches in the garden shed at the family barbecue. Cool things: really leaned into the filter here, good job. No-one likes a filter that doesn't commit. Footswitch control of the wah? Extra cool because I hate moving with expression pedals low-key, and you always get the same wah value. Momentary tremolo with a grungy sub-octave? I will eat so many. Thanks for getting me excited about drive/distortion/fuzz demos again because I know you're going to put it on the bass pickup with big reverb on the main output :) It's a great sound, and I liked watching you guys make it into a standard part of your repertoire. The trem/swell effects were insane, I don't think I've seen control of such a powerful sound that was so easy and intuitive without feeling like it's out of your hands. And just as I thought "This thing would be great with presets." boom, preset toggle. TWO tremolos?? What is this? Whitecap? The Skitter? Y'know what it is? Gawgeous. This actually hits me in a really nostalgic place (weird, right?) because my first "weird" sounds I played with as a lil guy was the really odd effects on my $80 at Costco Yamaha keyboard (which I'm looking at right now) and I'd put a piano setting through the "H. Dist" with full mix, and it's start to act like a ring modulator and the different keys would make beating sounds at different rates. Also the Ocarina program on that keyboard is just straight sine waves that shake the plastic shell of the keyboard and really push the little speakers if you pitch it down an octave and play the low notes, also a very Beetronics sound. Thank you, bees.

All 65,000+ filter mod patterns, please 🙏🏻 Also, your harp's outputs are so clever... I've been thinking about getting into Hexaphonic pickup systems. Imagine a separate pickup for every string, and a matrix mixer to group or isolate signals for different processing paths. Seems easier for an eight string guitar than a harp. But nothing is impossible.

65535 is 1111111111111111 in binary (16 bits), or FFFF in hexadecimal, so I reckon that number for the pedal comes from a 16 bit microcontroller, or 2 bytes of memory, or something like that. It's a 'round' number for computers, but they start counting at 0, whereas humans count from 1, so you get a 6 on the end instead of a 5.
