Desmond Addicott was an aviation test pilot and a club racer.
He had a thing for Minis and used his aviation background to produce an aerodynamic Mini based prototype which spawned generations of Mini based kit cars.
Stated plainly, the D.A.R.T (Dizzy Addicott Racing Team) is the Gift that keeps on giving!
Although the DART never became a commercial success, it lives on in names like Mini Marcos, Mini Jem and more.
