After coming back and giving up again and again, i finally got it down. Just gotta work on the licks and the timing of them.So to anyone thinking it's impossible, or the rhythm is too difficult: Sit down with a piece of paper, or just the notepad on the pc, slow the video down to half speed, and write down what fingers to use at what time, and progress slowly. Doing that, it took me an hour to learn the whole intro (time writing down included) and i'm playing it all full speed now. Take your time. Don't give up :)

Anyone says guitar playing is impossible think again i was born with a mild case of cerebral palsy doc said wouldnt tie my shoes. Well my mother said nah he will so i started physical therapy at a very young age not sure when, but she recommended me to pick up piano or somethin that would make use my hands. Well i picked up a guitar and ive been playin off and on for awhile. Anyways i saw this video it answered some questions i had and i thought i would share my story.

I don't understand why you had to separate rhythm and chords/strumming, it is messier and it is the only video where I have encountered this problem. It is my opinion but I'd prefer if you explained both rhythm and strumming at the same time throughout the video. Anyway you're great Justin

@JustinGuitar Songs- I've been trying to study theory for awhile (years, really) and while I've gotten bits and pieces of information here and there, it's never really all clicked and came together. Recently, I figured out the most common intervals within an octave, as well as the 9th, 11th, and 13th extensions- as well as the interval inversions, and I understand chord construction as far as like major chords=1,3,5 etc.- what other things regarding theory should I look in to in order to kind of fill out my understanding of it all?

+MegaRezone Students still in stage 5 can apply their knowledge of 12 bar blues rhythm and basic 7 chords for the basic version in the beginning. The rest of the video is quite advanced for beginners, but it very cool to watch to see how the things you already know unfold into a really musical blues groove as you progress in ability! Keep playing and most of all, HAVE FUN!!!!

+Daniel Estrellado Yeah but the most basic version demonstrated in this video is using the 12 bar blues chunka chunka which is taught in stage 8 so I agree with MegaRezone, the song is misplaced by being in stage 5.
