Today we are at the end of Turkey's Black Sea coast in the West.
We are at the place where Mutludere, the Bulgarian word of Rezve, which forms the border between Turkey and Bulgaria, empties into the Black Sea.
It arises from the confluence of Velika Creek, which is the extension of the Istranca Mountains in the Turkish part, Mahya Hill, and Kocadere and many small streams.
The border at the mouth of Mutludere caused a territorial dispute between Bulgaria and Turkey, but the situation was resolved on 6 May 1992, when Bulgaria took a few kilometers of land from the Rezovo Bay and water from Turkey's continental shelf, according to an agreement between the two countries on 6 May 1992.
