Undanceable yes, "but not for dancing" but it swings just great, since Harry knew Artie, I don't think he would have minded a bit

There are many renditions on KZitem, including Shaw’s. Pick any one you like. I do think Shaw’s is the best one, though.

Back in the day tempos were slower and people danced to the songs - and they knew how to dance. There has been a lot of water under the bridge and after many decades of disco, house music and speed heavy metal - audiences seem to have got used to things being a lot faster… modern audiences tend to sit and listen, these aren’t really dance bands any more. No reason why they couldn’t be, with the right audience in the right venue - but sadly their seems to be little demand for it 🥲
