I feel this way every time I watch a new video. Pure gold indeed

This video has helped me understand dynamics in Cubase so much better. How do you use the dynamics between two segments without crossfade? Do you lower expression down to almost 0 to have a realistic transition?

Thank you for these helpful informations ! Now i know how to perfectly fade out music with "Expression CC11" One question or ask please: Have you already made or might you make a video for this theme please ? : how to change the velocity (bpm) partwise within a music piece - in Cubase, of course.

Hi Simon, really good video! What string libraries are you using for the last example? Beautiful rich warm sound.. I love to layer my Berlin Strings ensemble patch with Spitfire Symphonic Strings ensemble CS blend (half of the players have mutes on).

As always, this post is an enrichment for me. Here I finally understood on which notes I have to use the velocity and on which I have to use the CC1/CC11 controller. You also made the difference between the two controllers CC1/CC1 very clear to me. So thank you for this video!!!

Hi Detlef, I'm so glad it was helpful. I remember when I was student struggling with knowing the different between CC1 and 11 - using them is one of the keys to a great mockup though!

The controller on my desk is called a Kenton Control Freak - discontinued now. My keyboard controller is a Yamaha KX88, again discontinued but you can sometimes find both on Ebay.
