Good advice. Drive like you're invisible to people in cars. If they are turning in front of you assume they don't see you unless you see them look you in the eye and acknowledge you before you proceed. Please be extra careful if you are still learning.

I completed my m2 course from motorsoul and they said a lot of the same things you did. Honestly a great school for anyone in Ontario looking for a riding school. One thing I really need to get the hang of is slow speed turns and downshifting. With slow speed tight turns, we were taught to feather the clutch (keep it in the friction zone) But here's the kicker... To practise feathering the clutch, it's wiser to do it on a motorcycle with a "wet clutch." If you do it on a bike with a dry clutch it will damage it. So new riders should look for a bike with a wet clutch. For downshifting, I found it easier to do a passive downshift, which is when you pull in your clutch and downshift to first gear when coming to stop. Need to practice actually active downshifting where you Rev match and all that complicated stuff. Hopefully this rant was able to give some tips to anyone who's also new to riding lol.

Hey Zain, great advice and happy to hear that you also learned from Motorsoul as well! Amazing! I agree with needing to practice slow turns as I definitely need to do the same. That is a really good tip for new riders to find a bike with a wet clutch cause that would definitely help to feather. And passive downshifting is also one of the best ways to slow down I think too as I also like going into a red light in a controlled and slow manner and slowly downshift. The rev matching is so difficult too haha. I also find myself struggling with this daily still and try to practice on the roads as much as I can. Thank you for the comment Zain and for watching my video! :)

The best advice on this video was the mention of intersections. Always look both ways and predict the worst such as the opposite car waiting to turn left or a potential red light runner when the light turns green (a motorcycle is likely to be first out of the intersection). Build your own skills first before riding with new riders. Another tip is to check the condition of your bike often and doing a walk around after parking your bike out in public.

Hey Jeff! It's so true that at times we know we are completely capable to pass through an intersection and through a yellow no problem. But we always need to think and consider what drivers are doing and if they will run through a red as you said or turn without seeing us. I really like your piece of advice to walk around your bike and make sure everything looks good as it is so true. They told me this at the dealership when I bought my bike and I keep this in mind all the time when I park it in public areas. Thank you for the comment and for watching my video :)

Hey Matin! Thank you for watching my videos and great questions! To be completely honest I have fallen off my bike 2 times. But luckily it was just at a stop and my bike tipped over slowly both times. I was also very fortunate to have friends and family near me when it happened so they helped me pick it up lol. A Ducati is an amazing choice for a bike! I believe any dealership that sells Ducatis would be open to a financing option as they are very pricey. Goodluck on your search! :)

Melody Campos -Motorcycle Life do you have any information about ducati bikes and how would their insurance would be ?

@@thejoker__357 Hey! I am so sorry I do not have the specific Ducati information on hand because it will vary from different insurance companies. And it is also dependent on your driving history and personal details like age and also the specific Ducati model you are looking at. I hope this information can still help! :)
