These are great! Thanks for making these! On a side note, as I've mentioned before, I bought the IBG hummingbird based on your review, and I just can't put the thing down. When I'm at work I think about playing it, when I'm laying in bed I think about playing it 🤣. I've never been this way with an instrument before, but the point that I'm trying to make or maybe even a question I'm trying to ask is...is it possible to play better on a quality instrument? Over the past year, I haven't been playing much, but once I picked this thing up, I haven't put it down since, I'm playing better than I ever have in my life! Considering that I hadn't been practicing much over the past year prior to, I'm just wondering if a better instrument that literally feels better in my hands, would ergonomically cause me to play better? The only other instrument that I can think of that just feels good in my hands and is fun to play is my 94 Mexican Stratocaster (back when the Mexican factory had partially burned down so they were shipping American parts to Mexico)... I've played on much more expensive american-made stratocasters that have never felt as good as the $200 guitar that I own. In any case, it's the weirdest thing, but I am objectively playing better on this quality instrument compared to my old acoustic guitars... Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this with better quality instruments?

😂, that opener made me laugh, because I can relate to it! Yes sir, a quality instrument can help you play better and that’s just a fact. When a guitar plays great, with a great sound and easy to fret, it makes a huge difference. Thanks for making my day!! Thank you so much Mason 👍🏻

@@randysrhythm Super helpful and I'm glad you got a good laugh. This is by far the best acoustic I've ever played with the exception of the Gibson version. It's like it has been "blessed" (or something) and has rubbed off on me 🤣... Can't wait to play it after work!

Hey Randy . . . . another informative upload Mate. I love music and in particular the acoustic guitar. Round 17-18 years old I thought . . . I just have to learn to play . . . . I became a 'strummer' (like you said, there is nothing wrong with that) and then I heard James Taylor play and I thought . . . . . God!! I would love to play like him, but it was difficult at the time because there was no such thing as 'KZitem'. KZitem has so many tutorials and when I realised that, my guitar playing skills completely changed. I learned of the 'Travis' pick among other finger-pickin' styles. I feel that when an acoustic guitarist is playing with a finger style . . . . there is no need for backing. He/She plays bass, melody and rhythm . . . 'solo'. 👍🏻 Hope that makes sense Randy. 😊 A great Video Man! 👌

Hi Randy - Your lessons are definitely helping a lot! I've got the E and A7 down, still working on the transition from the A7 to the B7. It's still awkward and not smooth - the picking pattern changes too which is part of my struggle. Nonetheless, the lessons are definitely getting new stuff happening on my guitar that I had no idea how to do! Maybe somewhere down the line you could also devote a lesson or two to the song "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" that you referenced in this video, or the Lightning Hopkins riff you played? I'd love to work on those too! Thank you so much, really getting a lot from the lessons!

Hi Me again on part 4 now trying to get it all together (slowly ) enjoying your teaching i have to say you say your not a guitarist but every guitar you pick up and play it comes alive i wish mine would sound the same, could i ask a question what strings do you use also do you put different strings on all your guitars i have an epiphjonej200 ce and based on your review a 50s j45 Gibson just purchased for my own pleasure, retired so just a hobby, looking forward to your next lessons.
