Ok, I’m a Concrete carpenter with local 212 in NYC. I mostly do high rise buildings but I use all types of concrete form systems. Doka, pirri, Simmons, Ulma, ETC. in NYC I’ve been mainly on Q-Deck jobs where we mainly use wood for majority of our forming but doka would be the most popular and then Simmons is the runner up. Doka just has so many applications it’s very convenient. Anyway, I’ve seen this whole printing concrete walls thing and in all honesty we could have had that little wall framed with steel, formed, and poured before that machine is done. Also I would assume a mason still has to come back over the wall anyway to smooth it out and fill in those spaces that’s created from the pattern it makes. This is a small wall, now I could only imagine how many of these you would need to do a small building in NYC and how long it would take. Just did a building where we had 2 day cycles, 56+ floors including the roof and we completed all the floors in 11 months. (Just the concrete frame of the building not the finish work) so I do like it, and I think it’s a good start but it’s a long ways away from being able to be utilized in the commercial construction world where they can say that it’s more efficient.

One is the vent stack for the toilet, there is a pipe for the toilet mount in front of the lower of the two drain pipes. The other is the drain and vent for the bathroom sink.
