I just made myself a couple sets of begleri at work because I was curious (machine shop-has its advantages). I started looking at different videos. Dude. It is so hypnotic watching you work.

you may have been talking about a couple of beads on a string, however most of what you said applies to everything. Two very important lessons in life i learned 1: learn how to teach yourself new skills (which is very well said in this video) 2: know what you don't know. Odd but thats short for: One should know their own deficiencies and limitations and not make assumptive conclsions extrapolated beyond their deficiencies without verification of the facts which is a requirement for critical thinking. Thanks bro for the philosophical insightful video and some knowledge on how to play with a couple of beads on a string.

Dude. Great video! Thanks for uploading! I really enjoy the knucklebones as well but I definitely dig begleri and need to put a lot more work into improving my slinging game! Back to the basics for me!

I've been trying to sling for 4 months now. I suck at it. Ready to give it up. I just can't get it. I've been thinking about the yoyo. I usually don't give up on things but begleri has got me so frustrated.

What you get caught up on? Gotta say we've all been there, but with enough time you'll get it. Come join us on the Discord and show us a clip of what you're stuck on. Myself and others would definitely help you, and perhaps point out where you're going wrong. We can probably get you through this wall you're currently experiencing. Link in the Description.

Hey. Thanks for your reply. I think one of my problems is I like shake my hand up and down to much when I try to flip the begleri. To give it momentum. I need to hold my hand more still and just move my fingers. Is that right? I've been. Watching this video several times and you are moving just your fingers. I tend to constantly kind of shake my hand up and down. Then the begleri flys off my finger a lot..
@SynSlings

Actually, you start with shaking your hand a lot, then when you get the feel and technique down, you try and shake less and less till you don't need to visuably shake anymore. So you are on the correct path

Gap transfers, mic drop are String length dependant. You cannot have a string length too short to perform them. So make sure your string is long enough, and then it just comes down to practice makes perfect. Watching those tutorials are your best bet, so you're doing it right already : )
