I am interested in anything about how baroque instruments differed from later developments, no matter if strings or windwood.

Thank you for performing the most wonderful Baroque pieces in your repertoire. My personal favorite is guitar quintet no.4 in D, G 448 "Fandango".

I had my musician friend from Spain over for a glas of wine or two yesterday. I played some of your videos. I played Some Teleman and when i played Bach Violin Sonata in G major, BWV 1021, Adagio he said that it was the best ensemble he had ever herd:)

Greetings from Finland! I would like to know about the musical life in Bremen during the 18th century. Maybe you could play some music that was known to be performed (or composed?) in Bremen and recreate an imaginary concert. There are recordings about Leipzig, Hamburg, Dresden etc. but I've never encountered Bremen.

Yes, I would assume that in Hansestadt Bremen there might also have been culturally interested citizens, not just „Vun´t Wohren un Sporen kummt dat Hebben vun her.“

Could you present some female composers of the time - I assume rather Italian nuns than from nobility?

Yes, and we already recorded a piece by Maddalena Laura Sirmen (1745-1818): Concerto for violin, oboe, horn, strings and bc in C major op. 3,4 at one of our last concerts. You will also find this video here on our channel of course! 🙂
