@Fay Kouri - We think the system is a complex one and all sides should be examined. That's why we try and interview as many as people as possible to hear everyone's experiences in their own words. Hope you have a great weekend!

@Jennifer Medrano - crazy you were at LCJC! Would love to hear your stories. As to why we upload videos from our archive, thanks for asking. When we first launched this channel we specifically said these were "From the Vault." The idea was to release stories and voices that hadn't been seen or heard before. Regardless of when they were filmed, we believed then and continue to believe now, that stories like this are timeless and important. It also gives viewers a glimpse into the past to see that not a whole lot has changed over the years. Many of the issues are still the same. In the months ahead we will be releasing all new content from all new places, but, just like all the major networks release old movies and shows from their vaults, we, too, feel it's important to do the same. We hope you'll continue to watch -- the old and the new ahead! Thanks again.

Oh trust and believe I have a story to tell lol... I got put in placement in ft Wayne I ran away from there and well let's just say my life end up being pretty umm... tragically messed up... I'm just now getting on my feet.... but yes send me the info we can go from there about it. I actually have been waiting to get my story out there it's from addiction to abuse and the list goes on... But yes see I guess I should know what the hell I'm talking about then before I get complaining lol I apologize I guess you are very right it is but I didn't know new was coming out too eventually. I thought this channel was new??? I dunno lol I have been watching you guys and will keep on because the judge is just retired I believe it's a guy now I live in lake county still lol and now my kids are in the court for custody and again my story goes on and on... but good job I love this channel 👏 ❤

@@angelaiacobacci4998 yeah back then there wasnt cps like there is nowa days... and my mom gave me and my sister to my dad after her then bf abused us and later married him... my dad and step mom were drunks.. and needless to say i was the step child in a household that i was never going to amount to enough for and honestly still nothing has changed other then they dont drink so i cant even blame the alcohol..?? but long story short.. i was being abused mentally physically and i told my social worker at school and they BY LAW had to tell my dad and so when i got home shit wasnt real peachy....soo yes that led to me having to run away TWICE until they removed me from the home... and yeah life just never really got better... but finally i feel i have a reason here.. it is sad because my point is that kids yes they run away for reasons because they dont want to do chores or dont want to obey at home but there are those that have no other choice but to run away and get out of the house hold. so there are more then just the child being "bad" and not wanting to listen... id LOVE to go for social work or something for the system to be there to advocate for children and young adults that have a change but have no one to turn to,, cps and the court systems are NOT the answer because ONCE YOUR IN THE SYSTEM YOUR ALWAYS GOING TO BE IN THE SYSTEM shit dont go away once your 18.... it sticks with you and its so upsetting....
