Just some raw footage in very first trial testing... scenery, lights, steam, decals and more details will be added/activated later and proper videos produced ;-)
Sounds extracted from my footage of the real 310.23 and played via Bluetooth-speaker inside the steam locomotive tender. It is Sunday, so did not turn it up to full volume yet. :0)
The tender and first luggage car are powered with two Lego train motors each and two Powered Up hubs, communicating in distributed traction via Pybricks firmware and programs.
The outer radius consists of Trixbrix r184 and r148 curves (values = distance between studs = 0.8 cm - usual Lego radius is r40 for comparison). Inside radii are r128 and r104.
Train length: about 3.15 meters. Mostly MOCs out of parts from various sources, 5cm diameter wheelset thanks to Mould King 12025. Two cars are heavy MODs from the same set, one pure restaurant car with six-wheeled bogies (one fake wheelset), one redesigned as sleeping car. Another teak sleeping car and a steel sleeping car, as well as luggage cars, one full teak, one steel, all MOCs. All cars feature lighting, the locomotive has a Mould King rechargeable battery box, a steam generator and working lights, plus an alternative round light brick inside the fire box. The cars run on Lego metal axle train wheels.
