That was really informative, thanks!! I also really like the style of your behind the scenes video. It was informative, while also giving a sense of the shenanigans that went on while waiting to shoot. Nice job.

@wrenthereaper I did try and find a vid I could post but couldn't find anything. What I am planning is having a device I place in the middle of a room and a little 'Thingy' pops out the top and spins...This gives the effect of it mapping the room with some sort of sweep. Hopefully I'll find a vid at sometime. Anyway keep up the great work and thanks again for all the work you put in to your tut's.

Fantastic videos both. Do you do full project breakdowns anywhere. I have been learning AE for the last few months from Digital Tutors. Their stuff is fantastic in terms of explanation but its rare they just offer cool shit like this. Also what keying software do you use. i am using the standard Keylight 1.2 in AE but I have a nightmare with uneven lighting and find Screen gain and Crop to be really damaging to the image. Cheers Dude. Good shit in these Vids!

"The Gypsy Laddie" I looked it up because I was curious, too. Nice editing on this video, Sir Wren! I think when I use Premiere Pro, I only use about 10% of it's total potential...not to mention I have no idea how to use After Effects. Sorry, this is your first behind-the-scenes video I've watched so I've no idea what programs use and whatnot haha. But it's good stuff, keep doing what you do!

Hey, I've got a quick question for you. How did you animate it going back in Z space as a 3D object, without it going through and behind your background layer? Do you have to move your background layer even farther behind the person flying and then scale it up? That can't be right... Thanks! Not enough experience with 3D objects and cameras in AE.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to explain your methods. Videos like this are extremely helpful. I found most of your descriptions pretty clear, but am confused about the need to rotoscope yourself after impacting the wall in the first shot of the original video. I understand why you cut out the still frame of yourself "flying" backward, but could you explain further the white roto'd mask that shows up in the tutorial? Thank you so much! Your time is greatly appreciated.
