The headline is kind of misleading, I was expecitng some kind of tutorial. But it is great to see behind the curtain. Wonderful performance!!!

Exactly but I think - I don’t know for sure but.. - they’re not allowed to show every bits and pieces of the song that got released on different label so I think that’s why this is not much of tutorial

Interestingly, I had the completely opposite reaction to the video. The title didn't suggest to me at all that it was mean to be a tutorial but upon watching the video I thought it was a tutorial. To me it demonstrated how to make that sound using two violins, a viola and a cello...using one violin for the top line, the the second violin playing the tremolo, the viola accompanying the primary violin, and the cello playing low / staccato. Maybe I am looking at things too simplistically but it works for me.

Such an interesting video! Love that Lucie's a part of the Spitfire Team. She really brings a lot of life and enthusiasm to the mix and engages so well!

A very nice look at the development process. It’s always nice to hear the live musicians, but also to hear how you arrange them with additional samples in mind.

Thanks for the interesting video. But you didn't tell or show us which strings sample library/s you used to make make the string quartet sound like a bigger string section ?

Well is the library relevant …the whole point of the presentation..to me was …the exposition of a compositional process.🙏🙏🏿

@@desoconnor7445 OK. if that was the point of the video, then that's perfect. I was just under the impression it's about the blending of the quartet with string libraries, so I was wondering why you didn't refer to the libraries. Thanks.

@@muziksculp2r Muz 🙏🙏🏿. …I don’t think it was directly intended as a sales project ….I think it was truly the gift of an insight into a compositional environment…kudos to spitfire for not pushing this or that library 👏👏🙏🙏🏿🎩🦄👍

I really liked seeing the collaborative process and the detailed feedback & direction the performers were given. Interesting ideas about the different energies comparing cello & violin and how the programmed strings created beforehand could be used to inspire the live performers. The all female team had a very fluid and natural communication process motivated by care, passion & without ego - great work !

Some really excellent string writing and string mixing. Kinda overshadows the rest of the song tbh.
