What makes life great is loving your job. What makes your job great is working with fantastic people. I love what I do.
This is old footage from the 1980 season of the Donny and Marie Show. Alan R Osmond requested us to do a “making of” the D & M show. In this video, we share a few of the secrets with the audience of what goes on (I am sorry the quality is poor, but film and tape just don't last forever - thank goodness for the digital world we live in now.) This behind-the-scenes production took a week to film the “going on” from the set, lighting, and stage management, into the master control and the tech areas all involved in making a show come together. You get a personal look at what goes on in the master control room; you see the director, technical director, and all the producing and script staff keeping details of every take. You know how the cues go to the audio engineer, tape operator, etc. I hope you enjoy this historical making of the D & M Show. Some of the people in this production include Bob Sink, the technical director. Dave Stoddard, lighting director, Seven Neilson, set designer, Blaine Stewart, audio engineer, Richard Jacobsen, tape and video operator, and so many more happened.
Every second is precious - oh, I could tell you some stories - but this is not the place.
