Microaggressions are brief, commonplace slights that can be intentional or unintentional, which communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative attitudes towards marginalized group members. Cumulatively, they can often lead people to feel overwhelmed, depressed, or anxious. While many people are working remotely, microaggressions have not disappeared. In this webinar, Dr. Gina Torino (Ph.D. '09) will discuss the incidence and implications of online microaggressions in the workplace and what we can do to stop them.
