Many thanks for posting. I've had my Crave for several months, and am still discovering what seems like an endless range of possible settings and sounds with this. I've also combined this with the Neuron, an Akai MPK mini keyboard and some external effects pedals. What this results in is a synth engine that could rival many of the large modular synth setups, but at a tiny fraction of the cost.

Although I have quite a few analogue and digital synths in my collection I have been watching a lot of KZitem videos about people playing with modular and semi modular synthesisers which I’ve never owned before but after watching lots of videos with Behringer I stumbled across this little gem and I have to say that I’m impressed with the sounds and the price is really cheap. Loved the playing 👍

Thanks for this really creative and interesting demo! There seems to be a particular "orchestral brass" timbre this synth is good at. It looks a good synth for someone starting out in modular (me), so I have one on order. Owners of both Mother 32 and Crave seems to be happy with both synths, so this has to be good value. Also, it has MIDI unlike the moog When you consider that you can patch in alternative oscillators (i have Mavis, and a Doepfer VCO) i can't find a reason NOT to incorporate this into my beginner setup. Maybe I'll come back and give a few thoughts after a few weeks of playing : )

I am trying to send one sequence from the Behringer synth tool to the crave but have no idea how to do it. Could you help me briefly how to store one sequence and play it on the crave? thanks
@AntonAnru
3 жыл бұрын
Use SynthTribe app (available on Behringer website) to upload the patterns from computer to your crave. Inside the app there's a Sequencer page. Push Import and select a pattern from the folder. In a left upper corner choose destination, where you want the pattern to be stored on your synth, e.g. Bank 2, Pattern 3. Push Store and the pattern is saved inside Crave in the chosen slot. If the chosen slot was active at the moment of saving, you won't hear any difference. You should select any other pattern and then come back to the one you worked with - it will work. Hope this helps.

Please, make sure you've set assign output to random. This is the most common mistake. Also, i should say that these patches are complex and use lots of patching. It may be difficult to recreate them for 100% , as even a small knob movement may completely change the timbre. But it's totally real to get very close to the demos.

Hello all, I have purchased this sound /patch pack from Anton Anru - and the actual sound I get is very different from the sound demonstrated here. The purchased item includes a few mp3 samples, those samples are accurate of what I get - this youtube video is not. How come? I paid to get this sound and I did not. Can you please help? What am I missing? For now I am quite disappointed as the patch set clearly doest not deliver the sound demonstrated in this video...
@AntonAnru
Жыл бұрын
Hello, the sound of the demos can't be different, as all demos were recorded only once. 10 of 20 are presented in the video. The demos in the pack are taken from the recorded videos. I didn't record demos and the video separately. Probably, you mean effects? Put delays and reverbs on Crave, and you'll get pretty the same sound. "includes a few mp3 samples" - not true. It includes all 20 files. it also includes all 20 patterns. you get 100% the same melodies. Where difference can be - is patching/settings. These patches are not simple, they are very complicated, and even small deviation between your and mine settings may give different results. Even if I recreate these patches today, the sound's gonna be a bit different. It's an analog modular synth. It's a living thing. You can't expect the same accuracy in presets as in Serum, where you just load the timbre. Again, these presets are advanced. Please, try spending more time with each patch until you are happy with the result. Feel free for further questions
@miklostomka7617
Жыл бұрын
@@AntonAnru Thank you, the effects part was not mentioned so far so the info helps. Yes, a few samples (20) were included.
