This is great! When things like this are illustrated it's the absolute best.

This is the shortest and simplest video. It's also the one that made the leap for me in understanding wtf is going on inside the box! It's this kind of thing that a lot of the tutorial videos miss out but really helped me understand how the elements of the electronics fit together (or can be bypassed). Thanks

I'm impressed with your control over what the pencil puts on that piece of paper.

I think a lot of folks skip this video, but for me it was one of the most important things to understand.

how do you know which control is the lfo/envelope modulating?

The toggle switches labeled MOD SOURCE, located below the OSC MOD knob and below the RESONANCE knob, will let you choose whether the LFO or the Envelope is modulating the oscillator pitch and/or the filter cutoff, respectively.

@@music-with-eric oh so when adding lfo, i apply it to both VCO and VCF?

@@martinaleksandrov7080 Another way to think of it is that the LFO is always running. If you flip a toggle switch to LFO, the LFO will then affect that parameter.

What confuses me is the Ext Audio input. It seems like it should really be able to input line level audio to process with the Crave, but from one of your other videos it seems like it needs a 0-5v signal so is mostly able to use the LFO output etc. What happens if you do input a line level audio signal? Is it just really quiet? I hope to get a Crave in the next month or so and am trying to figure out all that is possible with it.

The thing to watch out for is the incoming voltage of a signal. If you exceed the rating of the port, you do run the risk of blowing something out. But as I've said elsewhere, I'm no electrician, so seek other sources before deciding whether to do something or not!

@@music-with-eric definitely. I just got my Crave and will be experimenting a lot with it I’m sure.
