I don't know if this is the best Olympics but definitely one of the most challenging one along with Tokyo Olympics (big thank to Japan and China). Thanks for the kind comments amid the sad moment. I am especially concerned that some media increasingly try to associate China with Russia last few days but China actually has been asking both sides to stop escalating and talk since last week. Olympics is about bringing people with different beliefs, religions and ideology together, hope the world will learn that.

Comparing the games pre-Covid times to those during Covid is like comparing apples and oranges. A better comparison would be to compare the Tokyo and Beijing olympics, both of which occured during Covid---the pandemic introduces severe challenges in the hosting of the Games which are already very challenging in pre-Covid times.

The most important thing is that China will host this Winter Olympics, so that all participating players and related staff can eat and live well, because China has an ancestor's teaching, it is a pleasure to have friends from afar, China When people treat friends, they bring out the best things to entertain friends. This is also a part of Chinese culture. If you have the opportunity, you should know more about China. After you have a deep understanding, you will understand why the Western media and national governments will deceive and smear China. Will understand why your politicians are deceiving you!

Speaking of real reviews, I think you need a little more courage!I think you should be afraid that the video will be deleted by KZitem, so you dare not comment. The Beijing Winter Olympics are obviously much better than the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Regardless of the accommodation conditions, it is not easy to hold such a big sports event under such a severe epidemic situation, and it is so well organized! Don't be influenced by Western media's malicious smearing of China!😏

In fact, the purpose of the Beijing Winter Olympics is simplicity, otherwise it could be better.Life is all about food, clothing, housing, transportation and entertainment. For athletes, there is one more game related.better rooms, better beds, more food, bigger openings, better venues, more entertainment facilities.

One factor to consider, these village apartments will be sold to the public as luxury apartments afterwards, so they need to appeal to the potential buyers with not just the prestige of Winter Olympics, but also quality and features. That's why the cost of building those apartments isn't part of hosting the Olympics because the builders will make real money from them.

I understand that the tight bubble is a precaution agreed upon by the IOC and China, primarily for the safety of all participants, athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers. Otherwise without it, you could actually visit a lot and interacted with more people. China wanted to showcase also how clean energy can power up society sustainably and that is a step higher for the world to consider. 12,000 plus audience would have been better. Again, IOC would like to ensure the success of the event, with all athletes and staff back home safely and in good health. Looking forward to better days in the next winter Olympics.

I think the most impressive thing that Beijing has managed was not letting buildings go to waste or even giving it dual functions. The ice arena used to be the swimming pool building. They managed to make it so that it can be converted between both now. All buildings and the new slopes will be open to the public. The Olympic village buildings will become normal apartment buildings for anyone to buy. With a lot of Olympic venues left to deteriorate, this is something I really appreciate. And to be fair to everyone else, China as a country funds the Olympics and not just the individual cities so they have a lot more money to do a lot more things.

I think it’s a shame that the Beijing Winter Olympics happened during Covid, if it happened during normal times, you’ve would have been freely to move and experience the city and the rest of China. Also spectators and excitement, family or friends support etc. Kind of sad for you that you didn’t get to experience the rest of China. But maybe you can go to China for other sports games.

Unbiased but I wouldn’t call it fair comparison since majority of Beijing 2022 flaw is due to Covid. Without Covid there be no bubble and restriction on families and visitors. There would be more verity of food venders as well. Your second sentence doesn’t really make any sense no mater how I read it. I don’t get it. Last sentence I too appreciate any country who is able to host the Olympics. It’s a great opportunity for the world and sportsmanship to come together. To play fair and for peace.

You call it inconveniences others call it reassurance. America and the rest of the world is very convenient right now. Numbers are dropping only because no one is going to get tested anymore but they are just quietly sick at home or out and about. Sure people don’t give a F about it anymore but inconsiderate for the vulnerable. Elderlies, pregnant women and unborn children shouldn’t be the ones to suffer. Not to mention the race who are dying the most from it.

Some Chinese ridicule the Korean team who claimed the food is "oily and bad", yet took watermelons home by saying "the whole world likes it, only Koreans hate it". Well, now it turns out that it's not just Koreans who don't like it. Thank you for sharing that opinion. Someone should share this video in Chinese bilibili to clarify it. I recommend friends who visits China to avoid diary product (and Euro-American food) in general as they're not always fancy, but expensive in China. South Korea, on the contrary, is a very Americanized place so undoubtedly they may have a lot of fancy options (which is also why Chinese netizens are surprised why in the buffet Korean athletes picks pizza only). Yet one thing I don't understand: Team Korea claimed the food "oily"... how can boiled broccoli be oily? It's interesting that Japan is also zooming team Korea in Beijing Olympics because it's said that team Korea also found Tokyo Olympics food bad, which sparked some talk in Japanese internet. Well, now it seems likely that Pyeongchang Olympics did provide the best (western) food among the recent three games. Kudos to Korea.
